'Bang Bang' was released as the lead single from Jessie J's Sweet Talker album and reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, which remains her biggest hit to date. It has amassed an incredible 1.9 billion YouTube views since its release in 2014. The successful collab was also added to Ariana's already hit-packed album My Everything. It was her second top 3 single in the U.S. after 'Problem' had already proven to the world that she would be avoiding a sophomore slump. Nicki Minaj, future Ari serial collaborator, also raps on the song. 'Bang Bang' may have peaked higher than 'Side to Side' but the latter outlasts it in this poll. 18. Glad 'Die For You' remained from that tie-break trio, really not keen on the other two. Going for 'Focus' again of course!

Booo at 'Focus' surviving the tiebreak, the other two songs from it are both about the same level of ok for me but I guess I'll take The Weeknd staying in over Jessie J

I’m shocked but happy that ‘Bang Bang’ went in that round. It only got a last minute vote to be included in the tie-break in the first place.
My next vote is for ‘Save Your Tears’ so I think I’ll be going for that for quite a while. The original wouldn’t my pick from the remaining tracks but as an Ariana single, I don’t think she’s adds that much to it. |
