Welcome to Buzzjack Rejects 2023 Between now and 17 April, you can vote for your top 10 rejected entries amongst 24 countries, who opted for the national selection method to select their entries. Every year, there are fan favourites that do not make it to Eurovision and it is important to recognise these songs as they are also part of the Eurovision season. These national selection entries are often great discoveries, especially in a couple of countries. Without further ado, here are the entries: (click the entry to go to their live version, except Italy and Moldova) 01. 🇺🇦 KRUTЬ - Kolyskova 02. 🇨🇿 Pam Rabbit - ghosting 03. 🇷🇸 Filip Baloš - Novi plan drugi san 04. 🇪🇸 Aritz Arén - Flamenco 05. 🇮🇪 CONNOLLY - Midnight Summer Night 06. 🇲🇹 Brooke - Checkmate 07. 🇱🇻 Patrisha - Hush 08. 🇮🇸 Sigga Ózk - Dancing Lonely 09. 🇷🇴 Andreea D Folclor Orchestra - Perinița mea 10. 🇵🇹 Claudia Pascoal - Nasci Maria 11. 🇸🇲 LE DEVA - Fiori Su Marte 12. 🇫🇮 Benjamin - Hoida mut 13. 🇳🇴 Ulrikke - Honestly 14. 🇱🇹 Rūta MUR - So Low 15. 🇵🇱 Jann - Gladiator 16. 🇧🇪 Chérine - ça m'ennuie pas 17. 🇪🇪 OLLIE - Venom 18. 🇲🇩 Lola - Temperatura 19. 🇩🇪 Patty Gurdy - Melodies of Hope 20. 🇦🇱 Fifi - Stop 21. 🇮🇹 Paola & Chiara - Furore 22. 🇩🇰 EYJAA - I Was Gonna Marry Him 23. 🇸🇪 Marcus & Martinus - Air 24. 🇭🇷 Harmonija disonance - Nevera (lei, lei) To vote, please submit a response using the Google form here. I am planning a listenthrough on next Thursday (13/4). Hope we will have a sizeable number of people joining! Deadline: 17 April 2023, 23:59 BST Youtube playlist Spotify playlist |

Voted, hopefully correctly on the form!
Must admit, my favourite 'reject' entry this year is from a country that doesn't usually serve the reject goods. I would have voted for Mer Av Dig by Theoz over it mind you, I think that's my ultimate reject of 2023. |

24. LATVIA (8 points)
8 points - Yobnedor Supernova 2023 selected Sudden Lights to represent Latvia, who tried in 2018 but came up short to Laura Rizzotto. "Hush" is one of the two favourites to win the competition and the performances of both are pretty solid. Sadly, it is another weak year for the NS, though Sudden Lights seems to be favoured by fans. Can they defy the odds and qualify from the tough semi-final 1? This song captured my attention instantly with the industrial sound, but it has since grown off me as the song seems to vary little. The performance is iconic though. I am a bit surprised that this finishes last but then it has received little attention on the forum, so probably I should have seen it coming. |

I think that didn't deserve last at all. A decent song but her out of breath vocals probably not helping welp.
