As it's Easter Sunday and an appropriately named song is #1, choose your favourite Top 40 hit with "Miracle" in the title!
As a bonus question, and as promised in my previous poll, choose your favourite between 9pm (Till I Come) and 3am Eternal to settle which is the best song with a time of day in the title! I voted Calvin / Ellie, who I fully expect to win although Fragma may provide some competition, and Simple Minds for Q1 - I assume the Pasadenas' song is a cover of The Jackson Sisters whom I'd have voted if they'd made the Top 40 instead. For Q2, I voted ATB although there's very little between them for me - I rated them 22nd and 25th respectively in the Favourite UK #1 Single Of The 90s rate. |

Calvin & Ellie just can't compare to the behemoth that is 'Toca's Miracle' for me.
Second one was difficult, but I went for ATB. |

Can’t say I know every song on the list but think it’s Fragma 1st and Calvin & Ellie 2nd for me. KLF for the head to head.

'Promised You A Miracle' is a very good song from when Simple Minds were more fun and less dour sounding!
'It's A Miracle' is my favourite Culture Club song actually! 'Miracle' is one of Cascada's best. But Toca's Miracle I voted for as it is such an anthem! Voted for KLF in the second question This post has been edited by TheSnake: 9th April 2023, 09:58 PM |

Ooh that is actually quite tough I love the Queen and Culture Club ones! The Ellie and Calvin one I am now obsessed with but would need to give it more time to see if it truly compares!

Q1: voted for Fragma and Calvin/Ellie, I know quite a lot of them but these are the only two I'd regularly go back to
Q2: both are great but definitely The KLF for me |

I like the Miracle of Love by Eurythmics.
Whitney Houston had a top 10 hit in 1991 in USA with Miracle. Great song that showcases her vocals beautifully. Could never understand why they didn't release it in UK or Ireland. I remember it getting some radio airplay here at the time... |

Close at the top for Q1! 7 songs in double figures now too.
I'm surprised Q2 is such a landslide - in the Favourite UK #1 Single Of The 90s rate, out of the 17 people who voted for either ATB or The KLF, 11 of them gave a higher score to The KLF, who finished 13th compared to 37th for ATB. I guess the two leading "Miracle" songs being of a similar subgenre to ATB may have helped him a little, but I suspect it's mainly down to the different voter bases. |

I think ATB is much more easily remembered too, it being released in 1999 and also having been sampled very recently. I can see why it would appeal to a lot of members.
