I posted in the Chart show thread the other week how I currently enjoy Underneath The Tree even though I will likely get sick of it one year as well how I'm now sick of Last Christmas which was once my favourite song. It inspired to start this thread, which Christmas Songs do you currently enjoy the most and which songs eventually put you off?

My current favourites

Band Aid - Do They Know Its Christmas
Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday
Kelly Clarkson - Underneath The Tree
Elton John - Step Into Christmas
Darlene Love - All Alone On Christmas
The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping
Jona Lewie - Stop The Cavalry

Now bored of them

Wham - Last Christmas
Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You
The Pogues - Fairytale of New York

Underneath The Tree also has the advantage that it is still a young song, although all the others I list in my faves are a lot older, it helps they don't get over exposure.

Christmas Wrapping is my fave

I am tired of the John & Yoko version of Happy Xmas (War Is Over) but subsequent covers are fairly decent (e.g. I still adore the Pop Idol 2 one)

I find myself warming more to the original band Aid more each year. Same with Feliz Navidad.

Going off Mariah and Shakin' Stevens a bit now. Pogues remain the same level as does Wizzard. Slade and Wham I'm very bored of now.

I'm basically bored of the classics you hear year in year out, but enjoy the more modern ones (Leona, Sia etc.)

The one good thing about 'I Believe In Father Christmas' not being a top 40 regular is that it makes it harder to get bored of it. What a magical song wub.gif

I do love 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' but I am beyond sick of hearing it lmao. Same with Wham although I dont love it personally oops.. Weirdly I'm not tired of The Pogues though but that could be down to it falling down the pecking order of the songs order in the charts too. Slade as well but then that one has fell out of favour with me anyway.

As for ones I'm not bored of..

Kelly, Gabriella Cilmi, Greg Lake, Johnny Mathis to name some.

Same, it's gone beyond the point of saturation with that song and I'm at the point where I don't want to hear it again in my life. Not even once.
