ERA is the trade body which represents retailers, both digital and physical, in the entertainment sectors of music, videos and games. Previous the organisation was known as the British Association of Record Dealers (BARD) before widening its scope and changing its name about a decade or so ago.

Each year ERA publishes a Yearbook which looks back at the previous year. Included in the book are many facts and figures. For music, this covers data relating to sales and streams and includes actual sales figures for the top 20 singles and albums of 2023.

For the last 4 years the Yearbook has been free to download. The latest Yearbook was published last week and is available to download from https://www.eraltd.org/yearbook

Music statistics are on pages 68 to 89.
