I can't remember the exact years but for a long time there were songs which seemed to be all based on the template for Lean On which I didn't enjoy, it was way too much and for too long. I'm glad that's over. Some of those songs were good but a lot I found to be very forgettable.

The top ends of the chart were very male heavy in those years and a lot of similar sounding tracks smashing yet not necessarily standing test of time in the end. |
