It's 3 weeks on top for the luvverly Pet Shop Boys album track, as another one inches up to 4, neither of them sadly lined up to be singles. Chappell Roan grabs a 2nd top 10 (and 3rd top 20) with the fab Good Luck, Babe, and Lenny Kravitz is up to a new peak with his cracking cow-bells-and-all Human. The highest new entry is a debut from Myles Smith, no idea who he is, but Stargazing is dead catchy, in at 46. There's lots of Eurovision-connected upward movement, and Teddy Swims gets his 2nd chart entry with The Door at 60. Richard Marx popped up in the sales chart this week for some reason with Hazard, a 1992 chart-topper for me, and still haunting, so he's back at 66, Bon Jovi keep 'em coming with Living Proof, ditto Empire Of The Sun with 2 on the chart, new in Music On The Radio. Last time something was charting On The Radio, it was Scissor Sisters' Tits. Yasss, good luck, babe going so far. It's brilliant. It should enter for me on Thursday! Oooh, Austin making some moves and I am not disappointed. Of this doesn't reach your top 40 I will be though lol. The Schlager Hit parade is already on my playlist to be removed in the next couple of weeks. I do like it but it's growing tired on me already. Illusion I'm really loving now so I hope to see it climb on your affections as well. It's a shame fortnight has continued to be a like warm presence with you. It's done nothing but be a great song for me and continued to grow. We can't be friends about to leave your chart is a sad sad day. Yep. A bar song is great. It should enter in the next few weeks for me. I cannot stand that visualiser though lol. Fab chart

Thanks for the comments, and on the plus side Chappell Roan, Austin, Fortnight and Bar Song all hanging in there in my new chart, also Schlager but I agree it's not a grower, it's fun and needs to be out at Christmas with a video though. Illusion sadly got edged out this week as I wanted to cut my chart down to size a bit, oops! 85 (and 80) is too long cheers!

I was disappointed Shaznay/Shola Ama wasn't in BJSC, mainly cos I want everyone to hear it, it's already been pulled off Radio 2 so that's the end of it's chances sadly. Boo! Glad you like it though Yes I agree about The Detroit Spinners, really it should have been reissued in 1973 after Could It Be I'm Falling was a hit, think they'd have got 3 in a row, but it got no UK airplay at all. This is it's first-ever chart run for me, excluding my retro 1972 chart the other year (which isn't "official" for chart stats purposes), but I loved the Terri Wells hit cover in '84. Loreen did a great performance at ESC, but tbh every track/performance underperformed chartwise compared to 22/23. Pity! Pet Shop Boys have always had an eccentric release strategy, they do what they both feel like doing, and I think one can veto a potential radio hit or other, they've missed many obvious biggies over the years - though granted a lot of my faves are too laid-back to be radio 2 listed (New London Boy, for example, is the best track on the album, but it's niche, not everyone is going to relate to the lyrics as much as I do ) I often go for melody over hook.Yes, good to see majestic charting, the Whispers sample makes it. Empire Of The Sun keep banging out catchy pop "hits" and radio keeps ignoring them, just like Pnau. 15 years ago they would all have been hits. The music biz is SO fickle!
