The best Spice Girls song BY FAR. It's absolutely amazing and I rediscovered it's greatness last night.  The video is haunting too, and quite moving when you know the real story about it.

While the boy continues to chase after the chicken, the girl stays and the fairies play with her, give her a kiss on the nose, a secret...etc. They fly the girl to another place in front of a medium sized rubick's cube. The fairies are dancing on the rubick's cube until the middle on the top opens. They tell the girl to go inside. Meanwhile, the boy sees the fairies about to close the cube. By the time he gets to the cube, his friend is dead, the fairies diappear, and the cube becomes toy-sized. He then walks in the woods by himself with the rubick's cube until he sees a giant coin vending machine which contains other cases. A blue light shines in front of him and he puts the rubick's cube inside of a case and throws it in the coin vending machine and walks away. It ends with the fairies flying in the sky, following the boy. Altough the girl is dead, the boy will "viva forever". This video is a relation to death. The girl is dying from a disease and is taken to Heaven by the fairies while the boy is left to continue life without his friend and having to deal with her being gone with the fairies' help. The video could be viewed as an interactive element on UK CD1, the first time this feature was available on a Spice Girls CD. Wikipedia. |

Probaly my fave spice girl song along with goodbye, its beautiful!

This is in my opinion by far one of if not the best song they ever did both lyrically, vocally and video-wise. Its such a mature piece of music and really shows off their true vocal talents.
