Macedonia Portugal could be lucky thanks to a good draw and if they are, it will be at the expense of Denmark

Semi-Final 1: Ireland Russia Greece Romania Bosnia-Herzegovina Azerbaijan Poland Armenia Slovenia Moldova (Jury Vote) I am going to stick my neck out, and predict that the surprise non-qualifier from this semi-final will be Norway. It won't get nearly enough televotes, and of the two possible jury votes, I'd say eastern Moldova could get it over Norway. Possibly Belgium or San Marino for the jury vote as well. It's harder to call in this semi. Semi-final 2: (wow this one is hard to call) Ukraine Malta Portugal Iceland Belarus Latvia Georgia (unfortunately) Macedonia Cyprus Sweden (jury vote) I think Iceland will really pull out all the stops in this semi-final, so I would go as far as to say the public won't remember Sweden at the end of the show, as they have the worst draw possible. However, I think it is guaranteed to get the jury's vote, and if it gets a better draw in the final then who knows? Unfortunately, since I can see the jury vote being taken by Sweden, it could be sad farewell to Switzerland. Also because of their draw, I can see Macedonia getting through anyway, and Cyprus will be the surprise qualifier here. However the 2nd semi is so hard to call, and I still think it is wide open. I think the only certainties are Malta and probably Iceland.

It's just human psychology that it might get overlooked by the public. And as for Moldova I feel I was a bit hasty saying that. Could happen though.

Don't get me wrong, there is no way they will come anywhere near the final on the public vote. Just saying that if it was just a resounding favourite with the juries at the national final, then maybe that's the kind of thing the juries will go for.
