QUOTE Vanessa White @VanessaTheSats · Jul 9 Studio 🎶🎤🎵 QUOTE Jul 18 I can't believe @MollieTheSats has confirmed that @TheSaturdays are releasing ANOTHER album before the end of this year! 😱 (Saw this on Mollie's replies) QUOTE Rochelle Humes @RochelleTheSats · 3h #album6 😱👏🎶✏️🎤👭👭👭 Thoughts? If they have time to be in the studio, then they have time to be doing something for this campaign. |

i'm thinking Christmas album.
Although it's bloody weird releasing a Greatest Hits in August and a studio album before the end of the year. They need to work on THIS campaign and sort out their radio situation before anything else! What's the point of a sixth album when we can't even get the current song in the top 100 on airplay? Jeeeeez. But yay @ new music. |

CBA with this album right now. Need to at least hear Mollie and Rochelle swearing on 808 first.

I'm gonna post what I just posted in the Greatest Hits thread as I believe it can help this discussion here too. |

Will the album not flop during Q4 though? OYR didn't do too kindly then, but it did outsell LFTW's total sales in its first week

Jeeeeez. But yay @ new music. Album art already shot three years ago on AFU tour, why not save the money for a shoot and photoshopping their faces on? Always being ahead of themselves. Too ahead. CBA with this album right now. Need to at least hear Mollie and Rochelle swearing on 808 first. I think Vanessa could provide the swearing, I don't think Rochelle would want Alai-Mai to hear it in a few years I'm gonna post what I just posted in the Greatest Hits thread as I believe it can help this discussion here too. Guess as you say, strike while the iron is hot, which I does make a lot of sense for a group who the public aren't that bothered with anymore. |

If it has a smash lead single and planned properly, it could go ok but that's just me creating a hypothetical ideal situation. |

Maybe they're feuding with Ina
I particularly don't care if they write with her or not, she was a hit or miss for me after Chasing Lights. But I do like to hear her voice on one of their tracks just for one last time, for giggles |

I just want another Ego/Disco Love. They're best when they're do sing-a-long pop which is catchy and simple, yet likeable. Even though I love their dance-pop they just seem to be more unique when they stick to their pop roots and perform quality tracks. Plus they're very hit and miss with their dancing so why they do dance tracks time after time perplexes me to be honest. But I'll be happy with whatever they deliver. I just want a smooth smash era to be honest
I want to be pleasantly surprised (aka not another gentleman or a predictable dance track) This post has been edited by Sociopath: 23rd July 2014, 11:46 PM |

I agree that the Greatest Hits era seems like a bit of a cash grab, with very little money/time/effort going into it. They're obviously more focused on the next album, which i'm hoping will move away from the dance sound that dominates almost everything they do now.
However, how do they expect a single from the new album to be big, when there is literally no airplay. More effort into making this era successful would have put them in a better position for the future album. |

The main problem with The Saturdays is that they can't identify their own sound / direction. I love their dance numbers but I do think their better sticking to pop.
I'm expecting Living For The Weekend to be removed from iTunes with it being claimed that 'What About Us', 'Disco Love' and 'Not Giving Up' were made for the greatest hits. |
