Obviously I agree with the choice but I just want one more amazing album filled with iconic pop classics that cements her as the ultimate pop star of the 21st century. Not much to ask I know !

ITZ. Britney had Slave 4 U though and NAGNYAW and ILRR to help but it wouldn't cement her status. |

I think it's safe to say Britney's first ten years of her career have already cemented her as a pop icon. I mean she is closing in on the second decade of her career and she still receives moderate success on her name alone. And the only other artist to change and landscape the pop scene to her level is Gaga. But, if we were to compare where Britney was with her third full album (comparing to artpop) Britney was more consistent with popping out hit after hit, and the GP eating it up... With In The Zone still to come. Not to mention all of her iconic performances. Including being the only pop contemporary to perform with Madonna and Michael Jackson. Along with: 1999: BOMT performance with N Sync 1999: BOMT Kids Choice Awards Performance (iconic in America at least) 1999: BOMT/ Crazy EMA performance (even huge in America) 2000: Oops VMA performance 2001: Slave 4 U VMA performance 2002: performing "The Way You Make Me Feel" with MJ 2002: performing with Aerosmith and n sync at the Super Bowl 2003: Madonna Kiss VMAS 2003: Her concert series with ABC was there most watched television event for that year) and birthed this: 2004: Toxic NRJ (debate able) 2007: Gimme More VMAS 2008: Her comeback performance for Womanizer/Circus was the most watched concert series of all time. I think I'm just getting over excited and assuming that the fact she's in the best shape she's been in for ages means she may be working on the best campaign for ages! Not that Blackout/Circus/FF/BJ didn't have fantastic music I just would kill to see a whole heavily promoted era to see Brit take over the industry once more. #MadonnaCouldNevah
