The beat is great but I was waiting for the Tinashe verse & it never came. Disappointed...

Great beat, think we're in need of an R&B/Hip-Hop track in the charts (though as I type I realise "New Flame" is debuting this week, meh). Hopefully it can keep climbing and chart officially in the T40 at some point.

Hopefully it can keep climbing and chart officially in the T40 at some point. To be honest, there have been loads of R&B/hip hop songs in the charts in 2013/2014 anyway. I think it all started with Thrift Shop and Suit & Tie early 2013, and after that they have constantly been charting. Body Language is one of my favourites though, so I want it to do well. It NEEDS airplay on Radio 1 and/or Capital though. If not it's just going to free-fall after a couple of days never to be seen in the charts again. |

This is a great song, so pleased to see it smashing the UK iTunes chart. If only to get Tinashe noticed a bit more (well make people aware of her name and youtube/google her). Really hope it does something for her (despite her barely featuring on it!)

The free-fall has begun. I think if it wants to be top 40 officially it needs to stay top 30 on iTunes the whole of this week, so fingers crossed.

Stargate has made such a Mustard-esque beat for this!
Since Kid Ink's new album is out next year, I'd assume this will get another push, both here and the US. Could see this being a early-2015 hit with the right support (not even 1xtra have playlisted it yet!). Do people think its time has passed? |

Stargate has made such a Mustard-esque beat for this! I don't think so, but after "Main Chick" failed to be bigger than it could have been back here in the States, I'm not too sure about this being as much of a hit. This could do wonders given Tinashe's current momentum, though.

This could do wonders given Tinashe's current momentum, though. Talking of Tinashe, '2 On' has been re-added to the 1xtra playlist (our urban radio) just like 3005 was, so her label are obviously trying to push it again in the UK and capitalise on other DJ Mustard hits in 2014! Anything with Usher on here has a habit of going Top 40, but not being a massive hit. Although saying that, this is a great song and Kid Ink has built up enough of a name because of his first album to get support over here. |
