Anyone else watching? This has been a really unexpected hit for BBC, pulling in very strong ratings despite it's slightly anti-social time slot (9pm on a Wednesday straight after Bake-Off). If you're not familiar, it tells the real life story of how George Mottershead founded Chester Zoo, and it is believed to be rather historically accurate as well.

I'm only on the second episode atm, but I'm really enjoying it so far. The performances are very good and believable and it has the right measure of emotion without delving into cliche. Definitely a must for any animal lover, I almost saw myself in George laugh.gif
