I'm not including sing-offs, because so many were just embarrassing this year
01 Jay - 500 Miles (funeral March version of a song I already hate!) 02 Ben - I Will Always Love You (complete desecration. Barely a single note hit properly, it might have been alright if he'd re-arranged it to suit him) 03 Jay - Skyfall (as above, barely a note hit properly. He was barely audible and seemed like he couldn't be bothered) 04 Jay - The Show Must Go On (I know he was ill, but the song was about 100x bigger than him) 05 Jay - Changing (such a banger originally but he made it seem as dull as a Westlife album track!) 06 Jack - Bleeding Love (probably Mel's most bafflingly awful choice, he had more of the vocal power needed and it was just cringe to be honest) 07 stereo Kicks - Boys Of Summer (mess) 08 Jake - She's Like The Wind (so so dull, his voice was shown as really weak too) 09 Ben - Thinking Out Loud (sucked all emotion out of the song and basically shouted half of it) 10 Jay - Mad World (suited him more than most of his choices, but still deadly dull. And what even was it when he randomly started shouting yet he held back vocally thr whole time for Skyfall!) Ben's Hallelujah isn't far off for the terrible second half, but the first half was ok. Oops at Stevi not being included. But the vocals of pretty much all of these made me wince. |

Not sure I can be bothered to think of 10 but the ones that I remember as just plain woeful (excluding Stevi cus all his were) -
Chloe - Sing off performance, did she actually hit a note in tune? Only the Young - Sing off performance, one person out of tune is painful 4 is just torture Lola - her pimp slot performance, cant remember the song just remember her missing so many notes the judges so wanted to compliment it but they really couldn't Ben - IWALY - Just a terrible song choice for him, people should have realised he was bullet proof vote wise after this and sailing through Steph - all of her performances but especially her 2nd one on the main show Saturday Fleur - Cant hold us - horrible vocals the whole way through Only the Young - the one where the blonde girl with the piercing voice took the lead on, the most annoying voice this year by far. Sk were always saved from plain awful by James, Jay I honestly cant remember any of his bar 500 miles (though his first audition the judges creamed over was just male screaming), Paul never gave a bad vocal, Jake was average but not offensive, Lauren always went out of tune at some point but always had some parts of the song that were pleasant if forgettable, Andrea could get shouty but he never put in a terrible performance, Jack was like Jake inoffensive (though I missed his bleeding love). |

01. Stevi Ritchie - I'm Still Standing
02. Stevi Ritchie - Bohemian Rapsody 03. Fleur East - Thriller 04. Overload Generation - A Thousand Years 05. Chloe Jasmine - Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow 06. Only The Young - The Winner Takes It All 07. Fleur East - Will You Be There? I think Steph was very underrated and judged a bit harshly! She had such a different voice. |
