So Ultra messaged me about this anticipation game which works like the buzz-chart game in the uk charts forum. I actually really liked the concept and so was really thrilled when she asked me if I could host this happy.gif

Overview:

So each week here you can chart your top 10 most anticipated films this year so far, for example:

1. American Sniper
2. Sinister 2
3. Wild
4. Minions
5. 50 Shades of Grey
6. Cake
7. Spongebob: Sponge out of water
8. Kingsmen: The Secret Service
9. Wedding Ringer
10. Taken 3

Once your top 10 is posted I then assign each film in your list with points depending on where they are (with #1 getting 10 points and #10 getting 1 point, so in the examples case, American Sniper would get 10 points and Taken would get 1 point)). At the end of the week everyone's chart will be compiled into one to show us the top 10 most hyped movies of 2015. I know hyped up films don't tend to change in a week so Imma try to make the game quite flexible tongue.gif If your most hyped top 10 doesn't change, feel free to copy and paste your top 10 from the previous week into the next one. Hopefully we will see a nice transition in hype as the year progresses smile.gif Personally, I think this will eventually become a one-month thing rather than a weekly but we'll see kink.gif If you don't have a top 10, feel free to just post a top 5, top 3 or even a top 4/6/7 etc!

I'll post my chart later smile.gif

Just a quick note:
1) Only films being released in the UK (or films in America/other countries that have no release date in the UK) between the release date of 23rd January 2015-22nd January 2016 are eligible for the time being smile.gif

5. Crimson Peak
6. Ted 2
7. Sponge out of water
8. Minions
9. Sinister 2
10. Insidious Chapter 3

Nice idea! biggrin.gif

01. 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron'
02. 'Pitch Perfect 2'
03. 'Kingsman: Secret Service'
04. 'Jurassic World'
05. 'Sinister 2'
06. 'Ant-Man'
07. 'The Good Dinosaur'
08. 'Mad Max: Fury Road'
09. 'It Follows'
10. 'A Most Violent Year'

'Inside Out' & 'Paranormal Activity 5' are at 11 & 12 and then 'Star Wars: A New Hope' is next in line and it'll probably enter my top 10 most anticipated once I've seen the others properly!

Let's do this!

1.) Pitch Perfect 2
2.) Insurgent
3.) Star Wars: The Force Awakens
4.) Jurassic World
5.) Kingsmen: The Secret Service
6.) SpongeBob: Sponge Out Of Water
7.) Avengers: Age Of Ultron
8.) The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2
9.) Minions
10.) Terminator: Genisys

Honorable mentions to The Boy Next Door, Cinderella, the new Paranormal Activity, and Life.

This is my January list, I'll update once I've seen more.

Already seen:
Taken 3 - which is actually pretty good.

  1. Pitch Perfect 2
  2. The Last Five Years
  3. Inside Out
  4. Sisters
  5. 50 Shades of Grey
  6. Joy
  7. Dark Places

A couple of these don't have trailers yet but the cast/concepts are more than enough to sell them to me.

4. 50 Shades of Grey
5. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt. 2

1. Avengers: Age Of Ultron
2. Ted 2

4. Ant-Man
5. Get Hard
6. Fantastic Four
7. Shaun The Sheep Movie
8. Inside Out

Avengers is the only film I'm really looking forward to this year. It's all about Deadpool and Dory in 2016.

Part 2 will hit my charts in a few months, I remember catching fire and part 1 being long running #1's in my chart so part 2 will do very well closer to release
