 Hello. As we all know, times are tough at the moment. The northern hemisphere is in the grip of winter, the nights are long and the bank balances are low. It's in times like these that we look to "beat the blues" through whatever method we can find and to yours truly there is one form of entertainment that is garunteed to keep the depression at bay, TRASHPOP! Through this thread I hope to bring you occaisional (don't ever expect me to stick to any kind of schedule lmao) bursts of guilty pleasure pop music. We'll have all your favourites from your standard Slutpop to EuroTrash, TrannyTrash, RetroTrash and everything in between. Anything excessively crude, vulgar, tacky, cheap, derrivative, reductive, cheesy or downright bad can and will appear in this thread. If there's a hot piece of trash you think I should cover then feel free to PM me suggestions and I will do my best to write it up into a post in here. Keep it trashy, LexC |

Kicking us off we have the new jam Biscuit by Ivy Levan
This video features a dancing scone. Frankly I ought to just end the post here but seing as it's the first one... Like we'll see in a lot of what will end up appearing in this thread, Ms Levan is ostensibly singing about her vagina, "I think you got it twisted, when I told you to kiss it". When she isn't waxing lyrical about what she's dunking in her tea, Ivy also spends the song freestyling about dropping bombs on Afghanistan and appearing in a series of increasingly ridiculous ensembles (although I'm sure Leww would agree with me on this, her make up is ON POINT!). In short, Imagine the illegitimate lovechid of Iggy Azaelia and Lady Gaga discovered the 'brass' sections of a Cassio Keyboard and birthed this jam unto us. |

We were gonna get TrannyTrash at some point, and this is a good place to start. This song has all the subtlety and restraint of a car accident and features moments so ill judged that even Lady GaGa would question the need for their inclusion. With all that said though, nobody does the spoken word piece over a thumping generic EDM beat like 'Lasky so take that as you will! |

In the meantime though...
Luciana/Betty White - I'm Still Hot Luciana apparently still has a career? (or at least she did two years ago, which is still way after I thought she was done) That's good going for someone who was very slightly famous in 2007-2008 (her common as muck accent fits her right in to the time in pop history when Lily Allen/Kate Nash/The Kooks were at the height of their power) although, in fairness, when you're forced to promote your latest single with a music video in support of a Charity for the Elderly, said 'career' isn't probably at its peak. And those first 20 seconds of 'script' make Hollyoaks look like Shakespeare. That aside though, Betty White is owning her QMoL (Queen Mother of Life) status in this video right down to the last suggestively served slice of cheesecake. Werq!
