Yey. 'Distant Past' was pretty catchy... and pretty good. The bass going on in the verses is super cool.

Oh that's amazing!
Not a band I paid any attention to when they first started, Kemosabe was the first song I paid attention to, 'Arc' is a really great album though. |

After enjoying Cough Cough last night on plug.dj and getting some recommendations, I've listened to both of their albums now.
They're fantastic! My main new discoveries being Come Alive Diana, MY KZ, UR BF and Torso of the Week as well as Cough Cough. Thanks guys! Also, just listening to Distant Past now and it's rather nice, excited for this album now. |

Love Distant Past - expecting good things from the new album (I loved Kemosabe as well, but seems I was in a minority at the time).

Love this band so much. 'Distant Past' is FAB, sounding just as insane as always from them albeit with slightly more sensible lyrics than usual

Regret is really good, a huge earworm and seems a lot more instant than Distant Past to me. Wonder if this could be the one that'll eventually become their best for me. |

Just finished listening And I concur ~ Though I think it is slightly weaker than the first two albums on first listen (they set a very high bar tbf, I still enjoyed this album a lot).
Biggest highlights aside from the two brilliant singles are 'Fortune 500' and 'Hapsburg Lippp' from the deluxe tracks *.* The run of tracks from 'Regret' to 'Blast Doors' is pretty flawless. EDIT with standardly hyperbolic track by track ratings ~ 07.5 To The Blade 11.0 Distant Past 08.0 Get To Heaven 09.5 Regret 09.0 Spring / Sun / Winter / Dread 09.0 The Wheel (Is Turning Now) 09.5 Fortune 500 09.0 Blast Doors 07.5 Zero Pharaoh 08.0 No Reptiles 06.5 Warm Healer - 09.0 We Sleep In Pairs 10.0 Hapsburg Lippp 08.0 President Heartbeat 08.0 Brainchild 08.5 Yuppie Supper 08.5 Only As Good As My God Gd stufff |

I barely knew much of their stuff minus the sublime 'Cough Cough' and 'Distant Past' but this was STELLAR. Must listen to their other stuff now. 'Hapsburg Lipp' in particular was a truly mind-blowing moment. Brilliant.

BRAVO.
8.5 To The Blade 11.0 Distant Past pretty much perfection, song of the year? 9.5 Get To Heaven that chorus is such a joy! definite contender for the next single i'd have thought 9.5 Regret 9.0 Spring/Sun/Winter/Dread 8.5 The Wheel (Is Turning Now) 9.0 Fortune 500 9.5 Blast Doors yasssss 8.0 Zero Pharoah 9.5 No Reptiles 8.0 Warm Healer lovely chorus on this one tho scores may change over time but you get the general idea, ESSENTIAL album We Sleep In Pairs, Hapsburg Lippp, President Heartbeat and Only As Good As My God are also great out of the bonus trax |

I saw these guys at Glastonbury (twice!) and they were great. I listened to some of the album a bit on Spotify but only last night did I listen in full after picking up the vinyl.
Very, very strong album and their sound still sounds really unique and fresh 3 albums down the line, which I appreciate. Spring/Sun/Winter/Dread is my absolute favourite! Watch out for those craven baboons! |
