With the international break fast approaching and Roy Hodgson having named his squad, one question is on everybody's lips? Will Harry Kane start for England? He's been arguably the man of the season thus far and many claim he deserves his chance.

However, will Hodgson alter the team's shape after a strong start to qualification? Will he drop established strikers like Rooney, Sturridge or Welbeck?

Personally, I can see Sturridge being the most vulnerable, as Welbeck seems a Hodgson favourite. What does everybody think?

Drop Sturridge and play Rooney up with Kane with a diamond in behind. The former will still be a good super sub.

Sturridge's injured so going to make the decision easier.

I'm not sure he would have walked straight back in anyway; even at Liverpool he's struggled to fit in to a new system and England have changed formation since the World Cup.

A wildcard would be Sterling up front, although his form has waned under obscene contract demands.

Sturridge struggles as a lone striker, as he can get isolated far too easily. Put him together with a partner and he's the best striker in the league. If England are going to play with two up front, then you need a Sturridge/Welbeck.

Sturridge/Kane is the clear choice but I didn't know Sturridge was injured so it should be Rooney/Kane, obviously won't though cos Hodgson.

Where would that leave Rooney though? As captain, he's guaranteed to play, although I guess he could play in-behind. That could leave the team too open though. International football is generally more subtle.

Is it? Rooney's been excellent since he started playing up front again and Sturridge is barely back from injury.
