Watched the first two episodes, it's good... I don't know if I care enough to keep watching though, is it worth it?
The gay old man with the eye brows is disturbing. This post has been edited by Simon.: May 22 2015, 05:54 PM |

It's an interesting show, it's not really a comedy more of a drama with mild comedic elements. Jane and Lily are obviously amazing and I find them both believable characters, even if Lily's FACE made it quite difficult to tell what she was going for emotion wise. June Diane Raphael was all kinds of amazing too, I've loved her since first watching her in NTSF:SD::SUV, but she really brought a brilliant and different humour to it, especially where they were making the lube and she was talking about it in work the next day.
Saul and Robert are both kind of hateful, but in very different ways. I get that it was difficult for them, but the way they act in the early episodes makes them seem so thoroughly unlikeable, like GIVE THEM SOME TIME you selfish c**ts. Mallory is also quite awful and Coyote pretty much served absolutely no purpose whatsoever. Basically, it's a good show, but not without its flaws. It really found its feet by the final handful of episodes though and if S2 keeps that up, it should be great. |

I definitely need to watch this! So much Netflixing to do once my exams are done next Friday, OITNB is of course top of my list but there's this and Sense8 to watch and then there's probably others I've missed

The 2 husbands, Mallory, Coyote & Bud really need to take a back seat for the second season. I actually found Saul & Robert quite insufferable at some points, they really didn't make them likeable at all. I'd have loved it if they had actually let Grace go back to work with Brianna because that would have meant more screen time for her |

really incredible show - i like that some characters come across as unlikeable because it brings a realistic element to it and i think the balance serves its purpose - it really makes you root for the titular characters. didn't like brianna at first but on several rewatches i began to really see her character and i REALLY enjoyed watching her develop!

i think its a strong first season that has set all the groundwork and should lead to a LOT of season 2 fun, can't wait.

Oh, it definitely feels realistic, but I'm one of those people who still has trouble watching hateful characters unless they are doing it with a wink and a nod.

What an absolutely incredible show. Jane and Lily are just too good. I love both of their characters as well. And so much chemistry between them. Grace's store 'irrelevant' breakdown was probably my favourite moment of the whole show so far. And dont get me started on all of those one liners.

The ending sucks though with Frankie sleeping with Saul.

Think I finished the second season in about a day and a half. Much, much better than the first, and a lot funnier too.
