HEAT 12
So here we are. The last heat of this contest with only Semifinals and the Grand Final ahead. The remaining 4 countries are Norway, Albania, Serbia & Montenegro and Russia. Norway. Such an interesting Eurovision country. Out of the last 19 attempts they have so far had 4 last places, 2 wins, 2 DNQs, 9 Top 10s and only 4 midtable finishes. Truly ikonec. Margaret Berger's sensational performance is very much expected to qualify for the Semifinals but the second spot is up for grabs with Alexander Rybak, Secret Garden, Maria Haukaas Storeng/Mittet and maybe Stella Mwangi battling it out between each other. This is going to be an interesting one. 1995 hasn't had a single qualifier so far so maybe we should just keep that in mind and vote for Secret Garden~~ Because really no one cares about the Russian Eurovision 1995 entry. Interestingly he's like the one person that goes as part of Russian delegation every f***ing year. And he covered and translated SO many Eurovision-related song. Including Cara Mia. :') He's really the Russian equivalent of Christer, only we don't have MF here and he doesn't call the shots, not really anyway. But this flop is beside the point. Russia pretty much sent (or attempted to send) every huge star we've had. Philipp and Alla are like THE biggest awld artists here (still!). The early 00s Star Factory alumni, Polina Gagarina, Natalia Podolskaya, Serebro's lead bitch and Anastasia Prikhodko were quite successful. Of course, Dima Bilan and Tatu are still very popular, despite the latter being no more. So take this for an example, UK, and send someone big and very relevant in your country. They will have extra incentive to not flop so the good result is guaranteed~ Albania are those underdogs you always like to cheer on. Suus is their best finish, 5th place in 2012. They also finished 5 times in 16th and 17th positions in the final overall out of 7 attempts. v macedonia v ikonec. Olta and Kejsi are predicted (by moi~) to qualify but I'd not mind having Suus up there as well. This is Albania for you. v underdog v good v under the radar. And finally there's the smallest subheat of SE II. Serbia & Montenegro participated twice (selected their 3rd entry then withdrew but still voted in the contest). Both of their entries came Top 10 with Lane Moje finishing 2nd behind 2004 winner, Ruslana. Zeljko continued to slay for Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro separately later on so Serbia & Montenegro's legacy was saved and moved on. We all know Zeljko is gonna collect 12s like a hoe would collect STDs on a 4-for-1 bb whorefair~ Soz No Name~ ______ NORWAY 1995 > Secret Garden - Nocturne 1996 > Elisabeth Andreassen - I evighet 1997 > Tor Endresen - San Francisco 1998 > Lars A. Serbia & Montenegro - 1 qualifier. ______ You may vote in ANY or ALL of these four sub-heats. You do that by forming your 10 favourite songs from each country. You must use the traditional Eurovision voting system (12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point). If a country had less than 10 participations between 1995 and 2014 then you must rank ALL of their entries but still use the same voting system described earlier. For example, if a country has only 7 entries then your votes will be 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5 and 4 points. Vote via PM to Henderella. You have until 23:59 Friday June 12th, 2015. ______ Semifinals: 13-19 June Semifinal Results: 20 June Grand Final: 21-26 June Final Results: 27 June |

This is WELL HARSH. Zauvijek moja and Lane moje are both STANDOUT 11/10 moments of life
I know there's barely any chance it'll make it out of this line-up but I'm going to be VERY VERY pained if I evighet doesn't do very well. The full 4 minute version with the key change is TEARS OF JOY DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN levels of perfection and VERY easily in my super-competitive top 10 Eurovision songs of all time (though ENERGY WAS TOO AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THERE ). Also if Solo, The Image of You and Carry Me In Your Dreams don't all make it through THERE WILL BE BLOOD |

Norway is literally IMPOSSIBLE, they've barely put a foot wrong since 95 (not that they're often really rewarded for it on the scoreboard) and they're on a brilliant run since 2011.
I was initially wary of giving Serbia&Montenegro their own place but having thought about it, it means both Oro AND Lane Moje can slay which I am down for! Albania are the most bipolar of all these countries but when they hit it they HIT IT *.* |

And as far as male ballads go, Norway 03 & 04 are far from the worst.

Just realised that so far only like 1/5 (FIFTH!!) of all the qualifiers were from the first half of the eligibility period (i.e. 1995-2004) :'( Most 90s racist hoes will be named and shamed after this heat. Ryan, get ready to adele this one~
Hopefully Alsou and Zeljko will be able to make it all a bit better~ (Only echoing my initial predictions before all the votes came flooding in (NINE so far! Keep the momentum going guys! *.* )) |

Norway is probably going to be my most biased ranking yet towards recent songs. They really took a massive upturn in entry quality in 2008 and haven't looked back since!

I mean, not that I particularly dislike most of the Norwegian entries. Couple of turn-of-the-century mis-steps though. I like pretty much every Albanian entry so voting in that was very hard. Russia was comparatively easy though, so many poor or boring basic entries. Solo would be one of the FEW acceptable ones. |

Liam, O Mie, Jerick, Vulker, Alex, Luke. I'm expecting your votes by the end of tomorrow~ Combined with 10 votes I already received this is looking to be the most successful heat in this
Semifinals start this weekend. SO EXCITING |
