1970s Top 40 Rate - Tiebreaker

It had to happen at some point - there's a tie for first place in the Number 32s rate, and the tied tracks are:

Natalie Cole - This Will Be
Clash - (White Man) In Hammersmith Palais
James Brown - Get Up I Feel Like Being A Sex Machine

Now, we need to decide which of these is most deserving to join the final reshuffle. To decide, please order the above three as follows:

+3
+2
+1

As soon as all six loyal voters have decided (although if anyone else wishes to participate, feel free), the winner will be announced.

I'll start things off:

+3 Natalie Cole - This Will Be
+2 James Brown - Get Up I Feel Like Being A Sex Machine
+1 Clash - (White Man) In Hammersmith Palais

And just to upset things, I'll do the exact reverse and set them all equal again

+02 James Brown - Get Up I Feel Like Being A Sex Machine

This is SO going to be an unresolved tiebreak situation....! tongue.gif

(between Natalie Cole and James Brown, predicting the final set of Leonardo votes, so another vote-off will mean 3-3 each if no-one changes vote-patterns)

It was marginal for me between Natalie and James, so I'll prob switch to break the deadlock...

My 70s knowledge is so strongly influenced by my parents... Carly Simon, Roberta Flack, Joni Mitchell, David Bowie, T-Rex, Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder all likely to score well from me!

I'm happy with Natalie taking this one, even though I think Brown's is probably more iconic, "This Will Be" is still a classic IMHO.

I'd never heard the Natalie Cole tune so just listened on Youtube. It's the weakest of the three there by far but it's kinda nice.
