On my second week, there is no movement within the top 3. Ella Eyre retains the top spot with her brilliant drum 'n' bass anthem, 'Good Times'. The Libertines are hot on her tail with their comeback track, 'Gunga Din' and Leona's latest single, 'I Am', is proving to be a strong track in my books!

'Don't Be So Hard On Yourself' and 'Cool for the Summer' advance into the Top 5, although we are nearing the end of summer, I like Demi's track more and more each time I hear it. On that note, the same can't be said about Maroon 5's latest track, 'This Summer' is this weeks fastest faller, down 19 places to #34.

There are a couple of big new entries this week, Felix Jaehn work his magic on Jasmine Thompson's cover of 'Ain't Nobody' and Blonde must be feeling good as their latest single springs in to #8.

Years & Years' 'Eyes Shut' leaps to #11 following the decline of 'Shine', it is a beautiful track. Meanwhile, Delta Goodrem and Nero also experience big climbs with their latest singles.

Other new entries include 'Redemption' - which sounds like a combination of Sigma's most recent hits with 'Nobody To Love', Deorro's follow up to 'Five More Hours', a remix of a flop AlunaGeorge single, the wonderful new Nerina Pallot single, Macklemore with his BFF and other friends' new single, the latest track by SOAK, Natalie La Rose's 'Around the World' - this time with Fetty Wap's assistance, Foals' 'Mountain At My Gates', Nick Jonas' 'Levels' and latest cut from Hozier's debut album!

Hey Juran Juran. Loving the handwritten chart! biggrin.gif

Great to see The Libertines at 2, a strong return from them. I am also currently enjoying the singles by The Weeknd and The Chemical Brothers from your Top 20 - both made the Top 3 in mine and the Chems spent a week at No1. Out of the new entries this week my faves are from SOAK and Foals - SOAK's particularly is I feel her best single and was a big hit on my chart late last year.

Thanks, I find I prefer writing my charts down on paper, so hopefully now that I've started doing it this way it'll give my chart some longevity (plus a unique format. tongue.gif).

I really do love 'Gunga Din', it would have been huge if it was released 10 years ago! I've only actually heard this and 'Sea Creatures' by SOAK so far, she's got a gorgeous voice. I've somehow not heard an awful lot by Foals before, but what I've heard from their latest album so far has been pretty good so I think I'll have to look back at what else they've got!

I'll definitely be continuing to stream music beyond my free Apple Music trial tbh, it's opening me up to lots of music that I probably wouldn't have had the time to listen to prevoiusly!

Thanks for replying!

Hi

Loving the handwritten chart, I used to write all the official charts from 1978 to 1998, I gave up after that, and everything was done on the computer, got 3 A4 lever arch files that houses the first 30 years, all handwritten laugh.gif they look dated now. I might have to take a stab at re-typing them at some point for electronic storage.

Thanks James & Mikey for the replies!

The next couple of weeks may not be handwritten as my wifi is due to go down (whilst we await fibre) installation, so I won't be able to scan them in. I will post a typed out format, at least, tomorrow though. 'Downtown' is having that effect on me too, Mikey. I absolutely love it now but wasn't so sure on first listen!
