23. WHO YOU LOVE (FT JOHN MAYER) - Average: 3.59
YOU'RE HOT: 8.5 Regina, 6.5 Liam and Ryan. YOU'RE COLD: -1 Ultraviolence1989, Cody Slayberry, West, Princess Lotti, 0 AdamAloud and Joseph Styles. So first to fall out and finishing of an average of 2.5 behind 22nd place is Katy's duet with John Mayer Who You Love. This is just utter irrelevant crap and glad to see this flopping last by miles as it is what it deserves. 8 of the 37 participants didn't rate this song and it received 4 -1's and only 1 score above 7. |

22. IF YOU CAN AFFORD ME - Average: 6.27
YOU'RE HOT: 9.5 Jahq, 8.5 Josh, Johnkm. YOU'RE COLD: 3 Mike Sugafan, Mack, 4 Joe, Cremey. With a massive jump in average, the 5th single from One Of The Boys is out next. If You Can Afford Me was a single but I don't believe it was really pushed and didn't do very well in any charts. It is a good pop song but even though I like it, I would have kept it as an album track as it doesn't feel like a single. Though I would have hoped this made the top 20 of this rate at least! It received high scores from Jahq but quite a lot of middling scores saw it get an average of 6.27 |

21. BIRTHDAY - Average: 6.99
YOU'RE HOT: 10 DionTheSats, Josh., AdamAloud, Jahq, 9.5 Cody Slayberry, Ryan YOU'RE COLD: 0.5 Scene, 3 Kylie Jackson, Mike Sugafan Another quite big jump in average again as Birthday just falls short of a 7 average. Birthday was the 4th single from Katy's 3rd album Prism and flopped pretty badly worldwide and I think it failed to make the top 20 here. The video is also a mess but I do like the song even if it should've never been a single over the likes of Walking On Air or By The Grace Of God. This got a lot of high scores including 4 10's but also quite a lot of low scores with quite a lot of 4's and 3's and a 0.5 also. Top 20 will start later tonight hopefully, what do you think will be 20th? |

I didn't think Who You Love was THAT bad tbh. No huge losses on the bottom 3 really, but the Cash Cash remix of Birthday is such a tune

I know the majority of her material is top notch but seriously "If You Can Afford Me" & "Birthday" are still a good few places too low!

Birthday is pretty fun! Especially the bridge. Something is missing though.

Actually quite liked "Birthday", but do agree it shouldn't have been a single over "Walking On Air", if this followed "WOA" then it wouldn't have mattered. Also "Legendary Lovers" would been a good choice also. I reckon "Part Of Me" might drop next.

We did it! 'This Is How We Do' escaped the bottom 3
At the expense of 'Birthday' which is definitely a shock! |

Ah, why does everyone hate Birthday?! It's so gloriously fun and catchy, no different to the rest of her stuff really!

Good to see "Who You Are" in last place because that is just horrid even for John Mayer's standards.
God after the bottom two the bloodbath starts how did "Birthday" get eliminated over "By The Grace Of God" though? |

20. PART OF ME - Average: 7.15
YOU'RE HOT: 11 Mack, Spun, 10 Cody Slayberry, Joseph Styles YOU'RE COLD: -1 Jade, 0.5 Scene Should we get start getting rid of singles for Katy that now peaked top 20? Well you said yes as let alone getting rid of a top 20 hit, the next song to drop is Katy's 1 smash Part Of Me which became her 3rd number one and was the lead single of the Teenage Dream Deluxe era. Katy's 2012 concert movie was named after this song and despite most people thinking it didn't sell too well, it actually went gold last week I really like this song and find it quite overrated and mostly it got 8's but however it didn't get many high scores and a -1 and 0.5 saw it fall badly! Without those two scores it would have finished top 15! |

19. IF WE EVER MEET AGAIN (FT TIMBALAND) - Average: 7.23
YOU'RE HOT: 10 Jonjo, Cody Slayberry, Josh, NickF1, 9.5 West, Jahq, Ultraviolence1989 YOU'RE COLD: 0.5 Scene, 3 Joseph Styles, 5 Joe. This was the biggest shock of the rate for me as I was actually expecting it to be just outside the top 10! If We Ever Meet Again was the 2nd of two singles that Katy featured on in between the One Of The Boys and Teenage Dream eras and this saw Katy score another top 3 in the UK and did ok worldwide I think. I love the video for this song and the song is fantastic, Katy sounds amazing on it This scored quite a lot of high scores but a few low to middling scores saw this fall down a few places! |

18. HUMMINGBIRD HEARTBEAT - Average: 7.34
YOU'RE HOT: 10 Jonjo, Joe., AdamAloud, Acidburn, 9.5 KylieJackson, Ryan. YOU'RE COLD: 2 Mack, 3 Mike Sugafan, 4 Atonement, Scene. This is one of those songs where it is arguable whether it was a single or not but it was pushed in Australia I think so it makes the rate here *.* This is a great track but however it is a great album track and not something single worthy (if there was another single my top choice would've been Peacock tbh!). This is a nice fun pop song which got a range of scores all over the place from as high as 10 to as low as 2! Also the next song out will also be the 1st one in 4 songs to not be from the Teenage Dream era! |

17. BY THE GRACE OF GOD - Average: 7.43
YOU'RE HOT: 10 Lotti, Cremey, Mike Sugafan, 9 Ultraviolence1989, Acidburn YOU'RE COLD: 4 Regina, Mack, 5 Scene This is one of those songs where it is arguable whether it was a single or not again and tbh this isn't really a single (even though it was meant to be at one point) but I still included it for some reason! This received the least votes and got scores all over the place from 3 10's to a load of sixes. I wish this was pushed as I absolutely adore this song and it is in my top 3 from Prism. This is such a beautiful ballad and one of Katy's strongest songs I'll continue later and hopefully I should be ready to start the top 10 by tomorrow! |
