Welcome to Round 29 of Least Fave Disney Animated Classic and the 50th Disney feature to leave us is "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", which received 13 votes and is the last of the classic Golden age of Disney to feature here, as the remaining 4 are all from the Renaissance era.

Snow White was released in 1937 as the 1st Walt Disney Animated Feature, and based upon the German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, as well as being the first ever feature length animated movie. Which was a huge risk at the time and Walt himself ran out of money several times while making this. He had to get a loan from the bank and show them what he had made so far, to try and convince them. It was a risk that paid off as it became the highest grossing movie of that year with $8 Million gross, and through re-releases has made to date $418.2 Million. As well as becoming a huge cultural phemoneon, and became the start of something magical at Disney.

As for the others, the votes were very split with "The Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast" both getting 6 votes, while "Aladdin" and "The Lion King" both got 4 votes each. So that should make the next round very interesting.

05th Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs = 13 Votes

The one that started it all, and how many times have that been heard. But you gotta admit that this is definitely one of the most impressive Disney movies of them all. Considering the time this came out as well, is even more impressive as it doesn't look at all dated, just beautiful and rich with design and colour. The story is short and sweet, but very effective, in the way it all flows together and it's the characters that makes this work as well, such as the 7 dwarfs are each very memorable and enjoyable, while we have the wicked queen, whose design is very striking and her evilness leaps off the screen, just look at her transformation into the old hag, now that was scary as hell, then there's Snow White, who okay not a lot to her, but she is very lovely and her design is very real and you gotta admit that scene where she eats the poison apple was devastating, especially when she's lying on the bed and the dwarfs are all crying (even Grumpy), but everything works out in the end and everything's happy and Prince saves her. Now there's nothing not to like about this, it's just a wonderful story that everybody knows, or should know, it's like a piece of history that will forever be known.

Right then just 4 left now, same rules apply just vote for your least fave by the next round which will be on February 6th.

Aladdin again lol but 7 Dwarfs would've been my choice after that.

All four movies left tying on 1 each *.*

Eurgh at the Little Mermaid hate.

Beauty and the Beast for me. It's great and all but the rest are my top 3 Disney films.

I'd personally rank it third but I see a Lion King win coming.
