So in love with it! wub.gif

I NEED the full album photoshoot tho. Like, all of the pics. In HQ. Immediately. Please
Jimmy Jam
Really loving this, those vocals are on point wub.gif I do see the bieber comparisons, it is giving me Bieber's new material with better vocals vibe. LOVE!

someone teach the boy to dance
Jimmy Jam
Well it's better than the pillowtalk video

Considering his hype. Can he not afford a choreographier. I mean at least do a Bieber and do some spins and armography.

Oh dear, it looks like even Simon can't be asked to invest in Zayn's music career anymore. What a shoddy video! Even if he did some dancing instead of stepping around, it would be improved and represent something that could actually be considered a music video. Even Meghan Trainor looked more comfortable in her video for 'NO'.
jakewild
so good
jakewild
(if u exlude him from the vid tho)

Simon has nothing to do with Zayn anymore though?

The video is a bit budget but then, who knows, maybe Zayn wanted the video to look like that? unsure.gif It's actually my first time listening to 'Like I Would'. I've been a bit shit in regards to giving his album a listen. I bought it two months ago and I still haven't played it. laugh.gif

Didn't realise he wasn't still on his label. Doesn't help that the video looks like he's been placed on the X Factor stage and all of their fancy light effects have been used at once!

If Zayn wanted the video to look like that he should a) leave it to the professionals b) look like he wants to be there if he was that invested in the production.

We all know from his stint on The X Factor back in 2010 that he's not much of a dancer. kink.gif

He REALLY needs to do something about his vocals, it's another car crash performance from him. The song isn't even that hard to sing but he's struggling so much, it's not pleasant to hear. sad.gif
Medellíam
It sounds like he's not singing into the microphone properly and there's no passion or enjoyment in the vocals.
Jimmy Jam
tragic tbh :/

he can do better
JosephAvery
What's also tragic is the chart performance of this drama.gif PILLOWTALK is nearing 700k but this isn't even at 150k yet and the video hasn't really given it any boost either. Definitely didn't expect him to struggle so much so soon after the debut single.
Scene
He's got an amazing tone but I agree that his stage presence needs work. If it doesn't look like he's enjoying performing, why should anyone else enjoy it? laugh.gif I wouldn't say the vocal was a car crash by any means. There are other singers who get away with completely abysmal live vocals - while the likes of Britney gets away with miming even in this day and age.
JosephAvery
Zayn and Britney are totally different artists with different styles of music, I'm not sure you can really compare their performing styles. Zayn doesn't have extensive choreography in his songs, nor does he require it, hence why he needs good live vocals. Britney's live vocals leave a lot to be desired really so if miming makes the dancing better and an excellent performance is delivered, so be it. I'd rather watch Britney mime and totally bring it with the dancing than Zayn struggle to sing a simple song live with very minimal choreography.
Jimmy Jam
Plus Britney is allowed a free pass to do whatever she wants because she is the queen of us all laugh.gif

This song has been a flop since it was first announced.
