Here is a selection of top chart songs from the past 20 or so years which missed out on being included in the iconic Now Music series. Next to each track is the chart position it peaked to.

That's a brilliant tracklist! My only problem is that I think there are too many spin-off releases from the main series as it is. In the early days you would have had a couple of dance collections with extended mixes and the occasional other releases such as Now Christmas and Now Summer. There seems to be a new title every couple of weeks these days and half of those are titles which were previously released but with a few different tracks included.

A lot of these of course they couldn't licence, because the labels gave the exclusive to the Hits series instead

Wow! That album is actually better than the majority of actual Now albums. Thanks Dobbo! That's a brilliant tracklist! My only problem is that I think there are too many spin-off releases from the main series as it is. There seems to be a new title every couple of weeks these days and half of those are titles which were previously released but with a few different tracks included. Thanks Shaky Fan! You're right, far too many spin off releases, and more often than not, it's the same songs being used again and again but in different orders. A lot of these of course they couldn't licence, because the labels gave the exclusive to the Hits series instead That's very true AcerBen, and that's why I was forced to buy the Hits series as a "backup" if you like! Busted - "Thunderbirds Are Go" actually appeared on NOW 59 Quite right Hadji, it was completely my mistake, upon checking again I realised the track I meant to type was Crashed The Wedding, which was also a number 1 hit for Busted!
