so i decided to start over w/ a new personal chart for the third time bc i kind of missed doing it. i changed my methodology so that it's not so complicated/a pain in the ass to calculate at the end of the week; basically my new methodology involves just throwing a bunch of songs in a playlist and ordering them by preference. but yeah. a lot of these songs are old-ish bc i've been listening to like the same 10 albums/artists for the past few months. might do graphics + recap later to make this more presentable but yea, here u go: TW | PP WC Artist – Song 01 | 01 1 Tory Lanez – LUV 02 | 02 1 Drake – Controlla 03 | 03 1 Clams Casino featuring Kelela – A Breath Away 04 | 04 1 Drake featuring Rihanna – Too Good 05 | 05 1 Mitski – Your Best American Girl 06 | 06 1 Blood Orange – Best to You 07 | 07 1 Blood Orange – Hands Up 08 | 08 1 Beyoncé – Sorry 09 | 09 1 The 1975 – Somebody Else 10 | 10 1 AlunaGeorge – I Remember 11 | 11 1 NAO – Bad Blood 12 | 12 1 DJ Khaled featuring Drake – For Free 13 | 13 1 The 1975 – The Sound 14 | 14 1 Blood Orange – Juicy 1-4 15 | 15 1 Fifth Harmony featuring Fetty Wap – All in My Head (Flex) 16 | 16 1 Kungs vs. Cookin' on 3 Burners – This Girl 17 | 17 1 Shura – What's It Gonna Be? 18 | 18 1 Blood Orange – Better Than Me 19 | 19 1 Drake featuring Wizkid and Kyla – One Dance 20 | 20 1 Ariana Grande – Into You ~ 21 | 21 1 Blood Orange – Augustine 22 | 22 1 Rihanna – Needed Me 23 | 23 1 Shura – Make It Up 24 | 24 1 Mitski – A Burning Hill 25 | 25 1 Tinashe – Superlove 26 | 26 1 Tove Lo – Cool Girl 27 | 27 1 Carly Rae Jepsen – Fever 28 | 28 1 Danny L Harle featuring Carly Rae Jepsen – Super Natural 29 | 29 1 Dreezy featuring Jeremih – Body 30 | 30 1 Carly Rae Jepsen – Higher 31 | 31 1 Clams Casino featuring Samuel T. Hey there dhwe
A good #1 there, I think that will be entering in my next chart also. I was sold from the production alone! The Drake songs in your top 5 are pretty good as well. Even if 'One Dance' has been my favourite of the era and still is (glad to see it here for you at #19, most people on here seem to be fed up of it ) 'Somebody Else' is my other major highlight from your top 10 I really liked 'The Sound' from this era but this is even better. Such a beauty. Other favourites here: Kungs vs. Cookin' On 3 Burners, Shura, Tove Lo, Danny L Harle feat. Carly Rae Jepsen, Coldplay and Adele. Great stuff! <3 Edit: You got my 16,000th post. WD x |

thanks for the comments everyone!
'Somebody Else' is my other major highlight from your top 10 I really liked 'The Sound' from this era but this is even better. Such a beauty. literally my song of the year. i really wish i hadn't stopped doing my personal chart in january bc "somebody else" would've spent like 10 weeks at #1 and this would be like its 35th week on the chart lmao QUOTE Edit: You got my 16,000th post. WD x honored~ |
