'On What You're On' has officially been released. It's the first single to be taken from their 3rd studio album 'Night Driver'!
It's very 'Can't Feel My Face' meets Daft Punk! Funky freshhhhh! I likeeeee. EDIT: Official video for it is in the next post, below! |

This is great, it deserves to be a hit, I really didn't expect this Daft Punk meets Maroon 5 inspired sound for them at all, incredibly instant and catchy. Charlie sounds very good on it in particular.

This is indeed very different for them Its certainly not what I was expecting from them which is a good thing as it could do quite well amongst today's sound!

Such a bop Totally reminds me of something Maroon 5/One Republic would do. Pleased to see it Top 20 on iTunes - If radio get behind this could see it being a slower burner hit.

This really took me by surprise! They certainly sound like a completely different band but they really needed to and I'm thankful considering how dreadful that 'Air Guitar' thing was. Really loving it and I hope that it can get support as it could be an easy hit. It would really come down to artist politics if it doesn't get support tbh.

I'd say on a couple of listens that I'd take the McBusted album over this any day. It's not even that it's a radical departure from what they did before that's the issue. It's just that it's fairly nothing-y and sounds like a copy of The Weeknd. Think I'll stick with the old albums.

Such a jam, love this. Easily their best since 'Thunderbirds (Are Go)'! 🙈 (jokes) I'm not hearing The Weeknd comparisons either, to me it sounds like a 'You Don't Know Love'/'Run Away with Me' with an added sax solo, brilliant. Up there with their best!

This sounds like it could easily be a DNCE song; can definitely hear the Daft Punk similarities. Certainly the sort of thing that could be a hit, but it just depends on radio support, as ever with 'second generation' acts.

Weekend effect affecting it! I think it'll climb more over the week. Maybe not quite top 40 again though.
