In a series of rounds we're pitting the two most ***flawless singers against each other. In each round, whatever song gets the most votes for favourite will get a point for their artist, and after all the rounds the artist with the most points will be crowned as your favourite out of our two singers. *.*
Last round, it was a battle between the stars debut singles, with Rihanna's 'Pon De Replay' winning in a massive 21-2 victory against Beyoncé's 'Work It Out' *.* (well deserved tbh). This makes it 1-0 to Rihanna so far, but with nine rounds left there's still all to play for. Our second round is putting their last singles as lead artist against each other, with those being Beyoncé's 'All Night' and Rihanna's 'Love On The Brain'. Round three will open later tonight so make sure you get your vote in! This post has been edited by Andrew♀: 7th April 2017, 11:36 PM |

This is another one fairly easy for me tbh! 'All Night' has never been anything special to me, I've always found it nice but kinda average. 'Love On The Brain' has tired on me a little bit but I still really like it and her live performances of it never fail to stun me. (she could've gotten a UK top 10 if she'd performed it on the X Factor/Brit Awards though instead of it getting poor airplay and failing to make the top 50 on iTunes ;o)

So hard as I adore both.

One of the rare occasions where Beyoncé wins easily for me. 'All Night' is one of the highlights on 'Lemonade', whereas I've always found 'Love on the Brain' pretty overrated!

All Night has never been one of my favourite tracks on Lemonade and I'd definitely have picked Don't Hurt Yourself & 6 Inch as singles before it. On the other hand, LOTB was one of my immediate highlights from Anti and it still sounds fantastic despite hearing it loads so gone for Rihanna again

Rihanna wins it again for me. 'Love on the Brain' is my top fave from Anti - such a stunning vocal display, probably her strongest actually and it is such a power force live. I love the retro vibe; very reminiscent of Duffy and Amy Winehouse too and I think that is high praise indeed.
'All Night' is lovely too though. It's a great way to round off the exploration of themes on Lemonade before she lets loose into full-on anthem-mode with 'Formation'. |
