I don't know, but it's definitely my favourite from her. I think it could be a hit with the right support. I was quite surprised by the mild to negative reception it received on here when it premiered; it was immediately catchy for me and, as you said, Dua and Miguel's voices just complemented each other so effortlessly. The melody is so funky and gets me ready for the summer drives with the windows down. Yeah, 'Mo Bounce' kinda peaked in the first few listens for me too. I was expecting to remain really into it for the foreseeable but the thrill died down quickly. Still a bop and a half though. |
