Hailee Steinfeld getting added 9 weeks after release
Lol @ them completely refusing to A-list 'Despacito' I wonder if it will just stay on the B-list until it drops from #1 (again)? Odd to see HAIM A-listed after a month on the B-list but I suppose Radio 1 do love them. Great for Rudimental getting instant support! |

Great to see RAYE and especially Arcade Fire make the playlist. Not usually fussed on them but their new song is amazing.
Not heard the new Rudimental song yet but James Arthur doesn't give me much hope. |

Shame for no Carly or Jax Jones. (although I am confident the latter will get an add). Odd to see RAYE get an add the moment it gets removed from Capital, very late for Hailee too!
That Blonde track is awful. Such a shame, they'd delivered every time before this. |

Good to see Blonde, Hailee and Raye added. Maybe there is hope for them all along.

Not heard the new Rudimental song yet but James Arthur doesn't give me much hope. The intro to the Arcade Fire song sounds like Abba it's a good song though, I'm glad they're supporting it. The Rudimental song is pretty good (despite James Arthur's presence on it) in a chasing-the-tropical-trend-but-in-a-good-way kind of way. |

It sounds very similar to this song actually, as pointed out by Chris Moyles on his breakfast show. |

Another glaring omission... where's Gorgon City/Duke Dumont?
Both acts have been consistently supported with their releases before. |

Rudimental also on Capital so that should be a hit. Smart move for James Arthur!

This continued support for London Grammar is amazing! Expected it to have been dropped by now
Not overly keen on the new entries this week apart from RAYE I suppose. |

Loads of long running B listed tracks belatedly making the A list rotation!
Good to see continued support for Arcade Fire too, did they support the last material? |

No, Reflektor era completely ignored on daytime. Odd but good to see them re-support bands. Think Mystery Jets are the most extreme example, they ignored them for years! Perhaps their new label Sony piled on the pressure!

The R1 website is listing the wrong DJ Khaled song, has ''I'm The One'' rather than ''Wild Thoughts'' listed for some reason..

Surprised this minor hit by Selena has been A-listed! So many more bigger songs should've been A-listed instead!!
EDIT: Also, where the heck is Pretty Girl? This post has been edited by cq(uavo)merqn: 1st July 2017, 01:16 PM |
