After an impressive 43 rates, what is Buzzjack's favourite Kesha single? There are only 15, but which came out on top? Some teasers: - 3 songs had average below 6, and all of these were between 5.1 and 5.2! - The top 8 was pretty close, with only 0.6 between 8th place and first. - The winning song won by less than 0.1 of an average. What do you think/hope has happened in the results? Predict here, 15th place is about to drop! |

15th Dirty Picture (Taio Cruz ft. Ke$ha) 5.10
UK peak: #6 (Silver) US peak: #96 Highest score: 10 (Tombo) Lowest score: 0 (Dandy*, MoistSummerFruits) The wooden spoon goes to a collab, Kesha's feature on Taio Cruz's Dirty Picture. I much prefer Kesha's solo version personally so I'm not fussed with this being so low. Lyrically, this is about exactly what the title suggests - sending a dirty picture to your partner when you're away from each other and miss each other and can't be physically there. It's enough of a bop I guess but I haven't listened to this out of choice since probably 2010 |

14th True Colours 5.12
UK peak: #78 US peak: #74 Highest score: 10 (Tombo, UltraReputation) Lowest score: -1 (Shaphne) Next to fall is no surprise really, Kesha's most recent single prior to the Rainbow era starting with Praying, and yet another collab. This time it's a Zedd production but not one that is very characteristic of him, as it's an intense ballad rather than the EDM bangers that Zedd usually releases. Lyrically is a perfect sentiment for Kesha to come back on after 3 years, you can hear all the emotion in it, but its not that enjoyable or great to me and I don't think I've listened to it since release week apart from when I listened to all the songs in this rate to rate them. |

I can't say I particularly like anything about that, except for being overjoyed with the emergence of it that she might release music again.

13th My First Kiss (3Oh!3 ft. Ke$ha) 5.13
UK peak: #7 (Silver) US peak: #9 (Gold) Highest score: 10 (Tombo) Lowest score: -1 (Joseph) Yet another feature bows out, this time is the result of Kesha returning the favour for 3Oh!3's feature on her own single Blah Blah Blah. I don't hate or love this, but as we had heard their two hits Don't Trust Me and Starstrukk at the time, this just feels like more of the same but not executed as well. Like Dirty Picture, I don't think I've gone back to this since the time it was out apart from when I listened to rate these songs |

The first two aren't good but My First Kiss deserved better.

Dirty Picture is a bit of a tune that I still semi-regularly listen to, certainly not deserving of last place!
Would have preferred My First Kiss to finish above Blah Blah Blah, slightly the better of the 2 collabs. |

Not surprised by anything that's dropped out yet, not only were none of them so strong at the time, Dirty Picture and My First Kiss haven't aged too well.

No surprises so far, although I did like 'My First Kiss' back in the day, but haven't listened to it since and 'True Colours' was okay enough but not the great comeback like 'Praying' was.

12th Right Round (Flo Rida ft. Ke$ha) 6.01
UK peak: #1 (Platinum) US peak: #1 (6x Platinum) Highest score: 10 (Spadam, Jade, Jonjo) Lowest score: -1 (Scene, MoistSummerFruits) ANOTHER collab out next, this time the song that was the world's very first taste of Kesha! Kesha sings the chorus on this hip-hop bop, not the her most shining contribution and it's not really the most exciting thing she's sung but it is a bop. At the tme it sent the record for the most downloads sold in one week, shifting 636,000, and it actually held that record for 6 years until Adele smashed it by selling 1.11 million copies of Hello. |

CLASSIC bop but I'm glad this is one of the highest collab singles I'll also forgive it missing the top 10 because of how little a contribution she made in the song, like she's barely creditable

11th Blah Blah Blah (ft. 3Oh!3) 6.53
Uk peak: #11 US peak: #7 (Platinum) Highest score: 11 (Harry) Lowest score: 0 (blacksquare) Just missing the top 10 is Kesha's second solo single (well still a collab, but single of her own, you know what I mean). I do like this but it it was a misfire as the follow up to such a huge single like Tik Tok, for example in the UK she could have had another huge hit I feeel but this never caught on in the same way. It's probably about in the right place for me. |
