Well, this week was a big roller coaster for me, I got a new job starting in the summer, I celebrated my birthday on Sunday and I started watching a lot of films. Also in this week in my chart not even Clean Bandit & Demi Lovato managed to dethrone "One Kiss" at the top, "Solo" debuted at #3. "One Kiss" is closer inching to my chart record for consecutive weeks in my chart. CHVRCHES could top my chart next week with their album impacting, so far "Miracle" landed at #2 this week. However, another song that climbed unexpectedly in my chart and is growing on me a lot is "Answerphone" by Banx & Ranx feat. Yxng Bane and Ella Eyre at #7, could be another #1 contender in my chart. After "Tilted", "Saint Claude" and "iT" all making my top 10 and becoming big hits in my chart, "Girlfriend" by Christine And The Queens lands at #17, becoming her fourth top 40 hit. Other big songs reaching my top 40 are: "I Like It" by Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin at #25, "Sangria Wine" by Pharrell Williams & Camila Cabello at #28 (Debut), "Kashmir-Kashmir" by Cesare Cremonini at #31, "Us" by James Bay at #32 (because of the album release), "Hold My Girl" by George Ezra at #35 (Don't worry guys, "Shotgun" will be huge in the summer for me in my chart!) and "Je ne parle pas français - Beatgees Remix" by Namika and Black M at #38. Big debuts below the top 40 are: "Man Down" by Shakka & AlunaGeorge at #53, "Start Again" by OneRepublic & Logic at #57, "Drunk Groove" by MARUV & Boosin at #83, "Vroom" by Yxng Bane at #92 and "I See You Shining" by Nines at #99. My love for it peaked about a month ago and the overplay is kicking in a bit, but the retro vibes and simple but effective chorus are great. Loving the high debuts for 'Girlfriend' and 'Solo' here . both Christine and The Queens and Clean Bandit rarely ever disappoint tbh <3 also liking the inclusions of Ariana Grande, Arctic Monkeys, Liam Payne, Cardi B, Drake, Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, George Ezra and M-22 amongst others!
