Luca Guadagnino's follow-up to Call Me By Your Name with Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton & Chloe-Grace Moretz and is a re-imagining of the classic original. This looks so tense and fantastic. Would love this to be great + get Oscar attention and I adore the cast and the aesthetic/look of the trailer, it's kinda reminding me of mother + Black Swan. I'm so here for this *.*

No UK date yet but out 2nd November in America!

OK so a remake of one of my ALL TIME favourite horror films EVER.

This makes me so so so so nervous..

There is an article explaining how it will differ from Argento's original: http://www.slashfilm.com/suspiria-remake-differences/

I have so many mixed emotions.

I PRAY this means more people check out the original from Argento. It demands to be seen.

Yeah this version has definitely made me want to check out the original so I will get round to that soon!

Chloe Grace-Moretz can't butcher another film as bad as she did Carrie tbh

For those that have seen it, I wonder if the remake redoes the barbed wire and glass window death scenes from the original and perhaps they're the scenes getting huge reactions here? The two best death scenes I've ever seen in a film, rivalled only by a couple in The Omen.

Tilda in it...wow. I wonder if she is the villain or a fakeout.

The original is one of my fave horror films (and its sequel too, Inferno, wow...) so I'm intrigued to see this one. Slightly worried they'll go all in on the gore elements though; those worked better in the originals for shock value and overkill without being really disgusting because the special effects weren't realistic enough.

LOVED the original, such a stylish and deep horror with some fantastic and harrowing scares, and a phenomenal soundtrack to boot *. the term 'remake' generally fills me with dread in any case, but I'm interested to see how this works given there is quite a lot of material and themes they can work with as it's such an enigmatic film. A mother/Black Swan style film would be excellent, generic modern horror would be the worst ever.
