This is the first (and definitive) programme of remastering and includes the release of many rarities and cover versions on vinyl and CD for the first time. Pre-order here. The vinyl albums – all Kate’s studio work – will be released in 4 separate boxes, the first two on November 16 and the latter two on November 30. The CD boxes will be staggered on the same dates. The live album ‘Before The Dawn’ is included in CD Box 2 in its original mastered form. The albums, many of which have been unavailable on vinyl for a decade, have been remastered by Kate and James Guthrie. Kate’s 10 studio albums are spread over 3 vinyl boxes, whilst the 4th box contains many rarities previously unavailable on vinyl, including a whole disc of cover versions. The total number of vinyl discs is 18.   OMG I'm ridiculously excited about this news - I can't believe I've only just noticed it is even happening!!! Kate is obviously one of the most essential and influential British artists and it's always seemed such a shame that her work was only ever available on very dated sounding albums, this project sounds so complete and I'm definitely tempted to just go straight in for the full set - although The Dreaming is definitely the album I'm most looking forward to hearing in a remastered form. I do hope that she releases the CDs and vinyl individually also though as it's quite a lot to fork out for the whole package in one go and I'd imagine that would alienate potential new fans. |

Has 'The Red Shoes' not already been remastered? At least this is what Spotify is telling me.
If I were to buy vinyls without actually having a record player, it would definitely be Kate Bush albums. |

6 The Kick Inside 5 Lionheart 7 Never For Ever 9 The Dreaming 10 Hounds of Love 9 The Sensual World 6 The Red Shoes 8 Aerial 4 Director's Cut 7 50 Words For Snow The Red Shoes is an inconsistent mess as an album and yet it has some of her best tracks. |

I kinda forgot this was even happening but ordered today so guess I'll be listening all tomorrow  I just hope the remasters are worth it, still excited for The Dreaming

was hoping to see some of the singles-only side projects included - Rocket Man, December Will Be Magic Again, The Man I Love, Them Heavy People EP and any others Ive forgotten - I'm guessing not included though?
I don't have all of her albums, I mostly bought all of the singles on vinyl and then later on CD. LP's: 1 vinyl, 1 CD, a few cd copies. I need a smacked botty and this is an opportunity to pay penance! |

I think they are part of the second part, there’s definitely a bonus tracks style disc but I’m not prepared to pay the best part of £100 for the other more modern albums that I’ve already got in decent quality just to get it - hopefully they’ll be individually available on iTunes

 ...and this week sees the release of the compilation 'The Other Sides' that basically houses just the tracks mentioned in my post a few above. Good job I didn't fork out the £100 plus as this one was only about £17! |
