Another album chart battle comes just a week after the Little Mix/Mumfords/Buble showdown with 3 more big releases: Take That's reworked greatest hits album Odyssey, Rita Ora's long anticipated second album Phoenix and Kanye West's Yandhi.
Take That's last album Wonderland opened with 113.2k, Rita Ora's debut opened with 41.5k and I can't find the sales figures for Kanye's Ye (help would be appreciated with that one ) Who will win? This post has been edited by WhoOdyssey: Oct 21 2018, 02:23 PM |

Not all that much of a battle here, Take That will be #1 with a comfortable lead.
Kanye will do really well on streaming again but that won't be enough, I think he'll have to settle for #6, behind (in no particular order) Little Mix, Michael Bublé, Rita Ora and The Greatest Showman. |

Take That will walk this fairly easy battle. They’ll most likely have the best promo around it’s release out of the three here.

sure TT
although the new version of Pray is so vanilla + their recent singles is the worst song ever, almost sounds like Madonna - Hanky Panky |

Lmao at Kanye even being mentioned, all the 3 albums from the week before will probably be ahead of him.

There's no way Kanye will outsell Rita, surely? I'd expect him to be on a similar level to Ye's opening, it's not exactly stocking filler material so the higher sales over Q4 will probably be more of a hindrance to his chart position than a help.
Take That will be a clear #1 but Rita will sell pretty respectably too, hopefully well over 30k, maybe even nearing 40k? I'm being optimistic anyway. |

Take That are favourite but Cliff Richard seems to be outperforming them with pre-orders, can't see Take That sales being as high as some have suggested.

I honestly don't think any of them will be No1, Take That won't sell what people think they will.
