 The Results ...won't be happening at 10AM this morning, don't worry. I'll give a time of 19:00 to start but may be a bit later. I've posted this thread now for a few reasons: - So you can make predictions and hype to your heart's content - So everyone's had all day to see this and so you've got no excuse to not be following along and leaving me to post the results all on my lonesome. - So the one person who hasn't voted remembers to vote (the deadline is EXTENDED until about 3pm today) alongside anyone else who would like to vote. Get hyping! |

Slightly later than billed, but let's get this show on the road! First of all, let's remind ourselves of the jerseys:
 Yellow Jersey - The ultimate award. Won by the song with the most points at the end of the contest. Green Jersey - The sprints jersey. Won by the song with the most top marks (e.g. +12s if we were using that format) Polka-Dot Jersey - The mountains jersey. Won by the song which appears in the most sets of votes. White Jersey - The young rider's jersey. Won by the highest-positioned song released within the past 15 months. (yes I changed this once I realised only one song fit the criteria so now two songs fit the criteria ).And, of course, the entrants: 1. Moby - Lift Me Up (Used in ITV's F1 Coverage) 2. Vengaboys - To Brazil! (Was remixed for the 2014 World Cup) 3. Jessy Matador - Allez Ola Ole (2010 World Cup) 4. The Rhythm Method - Chin Up 5. Alter Bridge - Metalingus (Edge's (WWE) Entrance Theme) 6. Perfecto Allstars - Reach Up (Adrian 'Jackpot' Lewis' (Darts) Walk-on Song) 7. Fleetwood Mac - The Chain (Used in BBC's F1 Coverage) 8. Zinedine Zidane gets my 12 and thus sweeps up all the jerseys except for the White Jersey which goes to Chin Up. The only other White Jersey contender (aka me) is placed nicely in last. |

He plumps for almost a completely different set of songs than me, however our votes together put Allez Ola Ole and Metalingus both on 8 points – Jessy gets the polka-dot due to getting a +6 as opposed to two +4s. Three songs still on zero. |

Metalingus is now the only song to get votes from all three voters so far, getting the polka dot, and I overtake Chin Up (yay!) giving me the White. Only one song on nul now. |

He also hands out the fourth different 12 of the night, meaning that there’s still no clear winner for the Green Jersey and so Vangelis gets that as well. Moby and Perfecto Allstarz shoot up to 2nd and 4th respectively following their high points. Mattias keeps up the trend of voting for Alter Bridge, helping them retain the polka-dot, and I get a few more points to add to my white. |
