From Country Pop or Dance Bangers which style would you welcome the most for the next album by Kylie?

I would like a mixture of both as its a mixture that could work.
I see it as bringing a pop country mix to another level. |

I loved the Golden era and the country-influenced really revitalised Kylie's pop sound and allowed for a different type of songwriting, however another album of country-pop just wouldn't work. It would spoil what made Golden special and I'm not sure how much room there is for Kylie to keep developing under that sound. Glastonbury has really reminded people of the amount of fantastic pop songs Kylie has, so I want her to capture those sort of big chorus types again with another new sound that's fresh and exciting.

She won't repeat the sound of golden as she generally doesnt do the same thing twice but she could go all out pop dance which could work great for her. I can see an electro/rockish style from her similar to the Glastonbury version of Slow.

While the Country Pop was great for the 'Golden' era, I'll always prefer Kylie's Dance Bangers as its what she does best and she literally has tons of them. She normally doesn't repeat herself and think the Country sound will just be for the one album, and hopefully next she'll do a full out Disco album, something very authentic to that 70's sound.
I know people will say 'Light Years' explored that sound, but it wasn't full on as there was quite a mixture of sounds on there. Plus on 'Golden' there was 'Raining Glitter' which has the Disco sound and could be a hint of what's to come next, and plus a lot of fans want this and could be a very interesting direction for her. The success of 'Golden' has certainly seen Kylie bounce back after the disaster that was 'Play Me Once', where a much lesser artist wouldn't have been able to recover from. Thankfully Kylie has and hopefully her next project will be even more successful. |

I really do not want a re-tread of Golden, I like it but one is enough. Plus like FTF pointed out she never really tends to repeat the same thing twice in a row anyway, so I don't really know what to expect next.

I think most artists would be just fine returning from a #2 album that sold 90k & was positively reviewed by critics, but ok! As for the question at hand, I'd prefer something more dance/pop next time. I'd like some synths! |

Play Me Once considering how little attention it got from Kylie it did perform reasonably well.
I was surprised at the time how little attention Kylie gave it on the the Kiss Me Once Tour as she heavily played songs from other eras. The Club Bangers is the popular result here so far and i feel it is a sound that Kylie could really deliver. Tracks similar to Dannii's Who Do You Love Now could be something successful for Kylie. |

It would feel a very natural progression if Kylie does take that sound for her next album.
It would keep in the essence of Kylie too. |

Material similar to Dancing would be welcoming.
I am not saying copy Dancing, but pop infused with something and also uplifting works a treat for Kylie and her fans. |

Since she's collaborated with Tove Lo, I'd quite like a Queen of the Clouds style album.

I would not be hugely familar with all the work by Tove Lo so i will look into this more to see if i think it is a sound that would suit Kylie.

I think you'll like her Queen of the Clouds album. It's very electro/synth pop and has hooks galore.

I'd love kylie to come up with something like Robyn's dancing on my own which was great electro pop.

Dancing On My Own is a classic by Robyn, that said i also like the Callum Scott version but, in a different way.
Electro pop would most certainly suit Kylie. |
