Fantastic news to end 2019! The xx have announced they have been working on new material and it looks like it'll be releasing sometime next year.

This thread has been started on something concrete anyway? They literally said on their Instagram that they've been working on music and heavily implied it's coming this year.
Really hyped for this anyway whenever it comes, 'I See You' feels like a lifetime ago (even though it's been a shorter gap than the one between albums 2 and 3 so far  ) Loved all three of their previous albums.

Romy is apparently dropping a solo album soon now, and of course we had a new Jamie xx song just this week too - nice to be getting new material from them in some form but I wonder if this does mean their next album as a group might still be a while away, hmm ~
