y'all should watch, it's really good even though I'm very far from religion and everything.

very minor but amusing spoiler here - I love how the thumbnail for this video is literally the very last shot of season 1

This is absolutely INCREDIBLE television. I'm on episode 5.

The subtle hints, allusions, shots - the director needs awards for how masterfully they've told this story.

I hear it only gets better too?

It's a bit of a mindf*** in terms of #ishereal. You'll probably see what I mean soon. And the last few minutes of the season completely make up for all the flaws and slow pace.

On one hand I don't want season 2 because of how they ended it but at the same time it's such a fascinating story. Plus Mehdi is HAWT

The final episode was incredible.

Jibril touching the guy's hand... the true messiah in S2? His story arc is the one that fascinates me the most.

We're watching this at the moment... if you guys hadn't loved it so much then I'd probably have given up after episode 2 tbh as it wasn't grabbing me much... it's getting better although it doesn't feel like it needs to be this drawn out.
