Pretty decent update this week - Declan going A-list is pleasing to see, and I'm pleasantly surprised that Gaga went straight to B-list, they really are properly back on board with her, aren't they!
I'm really liking that HOSH & 1979 track too and obviously it's ALWAYS good to have Sia on the playlist *.* (even if it is just as a feature) Still no Coldplay? That's not like R1 at all! I'd also be surprised if they didn't playlist Taylor's 'The Man' - assuming it's an official single (I can't keep up these days with what is and isn't an official single  )

Not sure why Easy Life have been taken off the playlist after just a week on the B list and also not sure why Tom Grennan isn’t being moved up considering his song is in the Top 100 which is unusual for that type of song. However, liking the Lady Gaga and Sea Girls adds and they are obviously expecting Aitch and AJ Tracey to be absolutely massive!

Great to see Gaga straight to B List. I guess they couldn't have it in time to review it for last weeks playlist which is why it ended up as TOTW instead. Great to see Becky A Listed this week! |

Couple of strange things that I’ve noticed whilst listening to radio 1 over the weekend:
• Biffy Clyro is being played the same amount of times as A List tracks which makes me think that they’ve moved it up but didn’t have any space on the playlist • Easy Life are still being played a lot: I’d say probably roughly the same amount as when they were on the playlist which is weird. |
