ROSALÍA and Travis Scott
TKN

Non-album single
Released: 29th May 2020
Label: Columbia Records

Biography

ROSALÍA
Rosalía Vila (aka Rosalía) is a Catalan-born nuevo flamenco and Latin pop singer. Her voice was described by no less a talent than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as "sharp and sweet, but with a bite, like the old ones." While her 2017 self-titled solo album garnered her attention from the U.S. public and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, she has also been involved in the margins of popular and traditional music since her teens and has continued her other musical pursuits, from hip-hop and soul to trap and pop. She has collaborated with Spanish trap artist C. Tangana, flamenco singer Rocío Márquez, and Latin pop star J Balvin, to name a few. - iTunes

Travis Scott
Travis Scott has helped define the sound and feel of 2010s rap, imbuing tough, surrealistic trap with a distinctly pop appeal. Raised in the suburbs of Houston, Scott (born Jacques Berman Webster II in 1992) first made noise as an in-house producer for Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, working on the 2012 label showcase Cruel Summer and 2013’s Yeezus, which arrived mere weeks after he dropped his debut mixtape, Owl Pharaoh. He went on to bring his gothic-edged sound to Drake, Migos, Madonna, and Rihanna (“Bitch Better Have My Money”), while his own solo albums—2015’s Rodeo and 2016’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight—playfully drew the commercial center of rap toward the avant-garde. Take 2018’s ASTROWORLD, a swirling, almost psychedelic set that not only managed to pull together Quavo, John Mayer, Tame Impala, and Sheck Wes on the same album, but also had them gel—a testament to Scott’s vision as an artist and superlative curator. Like West, his mentor, Scott has also brought tremendous energy to his live shows, creating a stage-diving, punk-like spectacle that revitalizes a space that too many rappers inhabit on autopilot. - iTunes

Juice WRLD and Trippie Redd
Tell Me U Luv Me

Non-album single
Released: 24th April 2020
Label: Grade A Productions / Interscope Records

Biography

Juice WRLD
Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Jarad Higgins would freestyle rap through his school hallways. As a teenager, he began recording as Juice WRLD (a nod to the 1992 film starring 2Pac) and set his eyes on stardom. “My biggest fear is not getting to the point I want to,” he told Apple Music in the documentary accompanying his 2018 Up Next campaign, “but that’s also my biggest strength.” His distinctive, genre-blending take on emo rap—Auto-Tuned vocals, hints of pop punk, and beats inspired by Chief Keef and Chicago drill—shines on the breakthrough singles “Lucid Dreams” and “All Girls Are the Same,” which plumbed grief and regret and heartbreak with alarming honesty. Just five months after his star-making debut project, Goodbye & Good Riddance, he released a full-length collaboration with Future that felt like a euphoric, decadent victory lap. His second full-length solo project, Death Race for Love, released in March 2019, continued to mine personal pain for maximum drama, while collaborations with BTS and Ellie Goulding exhibited his range. Juice WRLD passed away in Chicago in December 2019 at age 21. - iTunes

Trippie Redd
Originally from Canton, Ohio, rapper Trippie Redd emerged in 2015 with a series of online tracks that hinted at the versatile style he came to develop, one that blended elements of cloud rap, emo rap, and trap influenced by T-Pain, Gucci Mane, and Lil Wayne with the energy of punk and metal inspired by Kiss and Marilyn Manson. Born Michael Lamar White IV in 1999, he was still a teenager when his rap career started, and he began releasing mixtapes and videos that would eventually lead him to viral Internet success and a deal with the Universal-distributed label Strainge Entertainment. After working on mixtapes like 2016's Beast Mode and Awakening My InnerBeast, Trippie Redd delivered his most involved work with 2017's A Love Letter to You, which reached the Top 100 of the Billboard 200. He soon relocated from Ohio to Atlanta as his fame grew. A Love Letter to You 2 followed, and debuted in the Top 40 of the Billboard 200 albums chart. That same month, Trippie joined with Lil Wop for the EP Angels & Demons. Before the end of the year, he scored his first Hot 100 entry with the Travis Scott-assisted single "Dark Knight Dummo." In 2018, Trippie Redd issued several singles in anticipation of his debut studio album, Life's a Trip. The LP placed the artist's voice at the center of many songs, highlighting his unique vocal style as both a rapper and singer, and became the first in a series of Top Ten Billboard 200 hits. Just a few months later, he returned with the mixtape A Love Letter to You 3, another chapter of depressive and angsty lyrics on both sung and rapped tracks. His second studio album, !, arrived in 2019 and immediately topped the Billboard 200. Its title was inspired by the album ? by the late rapper XXXTentacion and continued Trippie's emo rap musings. - iTunes

Presuming the limit Gaga can chart is Sour Candy, Rain and Stupid Love? Or has she made anything chart ineligible to boost another track?

Biography

PARTYNEXTDOOR
The persona of producer and singer Jahron Brathwaite, PartyNextDoor finds the Toronto-based artist experimenting with a fractured blend of minimal hip-hop and R&B that has drawn natural comparisons to fellow Canadians Drake and the Weeknd. No stranger to featured appearances himself, Brathwaite has lent his vocals, songwriting, and studio skills to a handful of Drake cuts, as well as ones by the likes of Big Sean, Lil Yachty, and Rihanna (most notably "Work"). The first artist signed to Drake's Warner Bros.-supported OVO Sound label, Brathwaite made his self-titled debut on the label in July 2013. A low-key release with Drake featured on one cut, it reached number 34 on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. A sequel, PartyNextDoor Two, followed in July 2014 with a greater promotional push. It topped the R&B/hip-hop chart and crossed into the Billboard 200 at number 19, aided by "Recognize," on which Drake once again provided an assist. PNDColours, a four-track EP, followed in December 2014. A little less than two years later, "Come and See Me," yet another Drake-enhanced track, became Brathwaite's first single to crack the Hot 100. The achievement immediately preceded the August 2016 release of his third album, titled PartyNextDoor 3 (which one might mistake as "PX3," due to its artwork). The following June, after he had co-written DJ Khaled's "Shining," appeared on Drake's More Life, and was featured on ZAYN's "Still Got Time," he issued the Colours 2 EP. The Majid Jordan collaboration "One I Want" arrived later that month. - iTunes

Rihanna
Beginning with her first hit, 2005's "Pon de Replay," Rihanna was fast-tracked to becoming one of the most popular, acclaimed, and dynamic artists in postmillennial contemporary music. Mixing and matching pop, dancehall, R&B, EDM, and adult contemporary material, she has been a near-constant presence in the upper reaches of the pop chart. She has headlined 11 number one hits, some of which -- "Umbrella" and "Only Girl (In the World)" among them -- led to her eight Grammy Awards. And more than just a singles artist, Rihanna has continually pushed ahead stylistically with her LPs, all of which have confounded expectations and placed within the Top Ten of the Billboard 200. - iTunes
