[ 7 ] ** [4.90%] There's quite a few new releases about now, but because of the nature of the chart most of them don't make a major chart impact at least in their first week. Taking the most notable new releases of the week I have shortlisted the potentials for Buzzjack's TOTW. Simply vote for your favourites and the song with the most votes will be the official BJ:TOTW winner! In the event of a double release/album by an artist, I'll choose the one that's been pushed on Spotify's New Music Friday UK playlist/higher on iTunes etc. Remixes or new versions are not included. The contenders: Alok, Martin Jensen & Jason Derulo - Don't Cry For Me Declan McKenna - Daniel, You're Still a Child Dominic Fike - Politics & Violence Doves - Prisoners Eli Brown & Karen Harding - Immortal James Bay - Chew On My Heart James Blake - Are You Even Real? Declan McKenna - Daniel, You're Still a Child
I picked this one without thinking twice, this guy has what's called talent, such a great song. |

Voted for Doves, James Blake, Juice WRLD/Marshmello, Katy Perry and RAYE. Slightly less predictable votes from me this week than last!
James Blake very comfortably the best of those on first listen but I think a couple of the others (particularly Doves) could be growers. The best from the rest of the list is Sufjan Stevens but this one definitely didn't hit me the way 'America' did, and feels a lot more undeserving of being 10 minutes long oops (it's quite good for just being a B-side though to be fair!) Declan, Dominic and James Bay were decent too. |

Can The Streets not win this I mean they've not released anything of note for 18 years! Well said the Streets would be a delightful winner! In fact that emoticon is pretty much my response to all of your responses in this thread |
