Welcome to ROUND SIX of Unapologetics survivor!
As a celebration of Rihanna’s 2012 studio album Unapologetic we are about to find out what BuzzJack’s favourite track from the album is almost 8 years after initial release. Round six was the final double elimination and we lose Lost In Paradise and Love Without Tragedy / Mother Mary. Lost In Paradise received 7 votes and on the standard edition of the album is the albums closing track. It was co-written by Labrinth who at the time of release was quite a big name within the UK music industry as he was fairly successful during his debut era. This for me was one of my favourites initially and I still do like it. However Love Without Tragedy / Mother Mary is for me one of her best ever non singles and definitely deserved top 5! It’s such a brilliant track. The first part of the track is uptempo and is love orientated where she sings about the best years of her life with a lover the second part Mother Mary sees Rihanna discuss her regrets and her longing to change. Round 7 is now open. It’s single eliminations from now on in! Results so far 14th. place. Half Of Me 13th place. Get It Over With 12th place. Loveeeeeee Song 11th place. Nobody’s Business 10th place. Phresh Out The Runway 9th place. Numb 8th place JOINT. Pour It Up, No Love Allowed 7th place. Lost In Paradise 6th place. Love Without Tragedy / Mother Mary |
