Anyone here been watching this? Been quite enjoying it! I know Michael is quite divisive among some but I'll watch anything with him in
There were two chart questions tonight as well! |

I watched it tonight too! What a flop Melvin was on the subject of music! I was screaming the correct answers!

Just watched the first two episodes on YouTube, it’s a great show.
I hope there’s an Australian version in 2021. |

This isn't as iconic as Danny Dyer's The Wall, but still an essential Saturday night/Sunday morning watch for me already
Loved the diverse range of questions last night from music to....sewing I watched it tonight too! What a flop Melvin was on the subject of music! I was screaming the correct answers! I might've struggled on the Billy/Billie question but him thinking that The Weeknd had the most weeks at #1 in 2019 when he didn't have a #1 until this year was a frustrating moment Also I know next to nothing about football but growing up near Sheffield, my instinct was to rule United out straight away so take that Emmanuel |

I spent the first episode trying to get my head around the quite complex rules and complex. By this week's episode - I've got into the swing of it, and it's great. McIntyre's a good host, the range of celebrities is decent, and fun moments, like when the celebrities constantly get their own "specialist" categories wrong, or when by a stroke of luck the celebrity it lands on happens to have knowledge of another category (like when a question relating to a ballet move which is in French ends up going to the French-Canadian Katherine Ryan). It also has the most addictive theme tune for a gameshow in years - to the point that I do find myself blurting out "The Wheel!" at random times during the week. I have a feeling it'll be a one-season wonder, given that it's a 2020 replacement for McIntyre's usual Saturday show that can be done using social distancing.

I really want to hate it, but I'm enjoying it! Honestly was in stitches at the messy, chaotic ending today. McIntyre really makes the show - it would be quite flat without him.

Michael's said it was actually in development & planned before covid! |

It will 100% get recommissioned! A good test will be how well it holds up in January without a Strictly lead-in. The fact it's retained pretty much its entire launch audience for the following two episodes is a good sign. It's also got the benefit of effectively a 'second launch' in the middle of the Christmas Day schedule!

I kinda feel like it’s fixed where it lands 🤣
I watched it on Christmas Day with my family and I liked it so I’ve started watching it on iPlayer. |

This is really entertaining - it is an enjoyable watch in a similar vein to 'The Masked Singer' which is also a silly concept but fun!

I found the latest episode of The Wheel to be one of the funniest, I think partly because of the jokes being aimed at Joel Dommet’s expense.

I watched this on Saturday just to catch a glimpse of Sophie Ellis-Bextor who was a contestant.
It's entertaining but I don't think I'll be watching it again, I find Michael McIntyre so supremely irritating. |

Recomissioned for a second series of 16 episodes! That's quite a lot for one run, so I'd imagine it will be split in 2.
I wonder if that means they're not expecting Big Show to return this year? |
