How many copies will Disco sell in 2021?

It's off to a solid start but could we have new editions? Super deluxe? New vinyls? Offers, Sales etc?

Will be interesting to see how many sales it can get in a full year

What do you think it will achieve?

I am actually going to go with over 100,000!!!!

Im going for 40k as that would bring its total to around 160k, but if a new edition comes i would go higher.

Uncertain at this point since there is no upcoming promotion plan. Do they keep on pushing "Real Groove" or release a new single any time soon?

Really unsure tbh.

40,000 - average 753 sales a week

60,000 - average 1,132 sales a week

80,000 - average 1,509 sales a week

40k should be achievable but anything over that really depends on promo, singles etc., - the fact that a tour is looking evermore unlikely at this point will harm it

I'm almost sure there will be no tour but if a good re release goes ahead and its promoted it could change the outcome.

Optimistic and chose 80k...let’s hope it receives some good promo this year and streaming is decent through the year.

A re-release would probably get 20k in its first week alone.

Let's see what happens

The album is likely to drop out of the T75 in next few weeks unless there is more promotion. I think Disco will struggle to match the sales of Golden, unless there is a reissue.

But she has a year to promote?

She could have another 4/5 singles from it if she wanted. There's a years worth of TV promo still potrntially.

Opted for 80,000 sales, but that's a stretch, just wishful thinking on my part. Hopefully a few more singles will drive sales - if 'Real Groove' gets a video (which it should), then that may help drive sales. Along with 2 more singles, my choices would be 'Miss A Thing' & 'Supernova' - then a reissue later in the year that should give the sales a boost & maybe just maybe sell more than 'Golden'.

For the rest of the year -

MARCH '21 - 'Miss A Thing'
JUNE '21 - 'Supernova'
SEPT '21 - NEW SINGLE & ALBUM RE-RELEASE
DEC '21 - SINGLE #2 FROM RE-ISSUE

I think if a re release comes i think it would need to be around end of march or april while there is still good interest in the album with the 4 single from disco around mid February. I'd like them to release a brand new single with the same treatment as say something or magic got, to launch it. I always think kylie falls down there when doing a re release they dont launch it as good as other people do so I'd love to see them go full steam with it if it happens

Well potentially we have

Jessie Ware & Kylie
Robbie Williams & Kylie
Mirwais & Kylie

So that could be 3 new songs this year already and cloud be tagged on streaming channels/EPs/exclusives or even on new formats depending on their sounds

I would love a further version/repackage of Disco although I’m not convinced it will happen? It’s not something team Kylie usually do (we’ve only seen it for Kylie Christmas and SBIT in recent years) - The Golden Tour was released as a separate entity rather than being bundled with the album.

As I said I’d love for it to happen just not convinced it will.

Doh I thought it was overall and I put 125+ as I think it will sell between 125-150 overall. Oops

If a new edition is released I predict at least 50,000 further sales.
Without a new edition 30,000.

I think regardless of whether disco has another 4-5 singles, I can’t see them having much impact right now. It’s very difficult to promote in the covid era and kylie won’t get much support from radio. We all know from Golden that the post singles after the album didn’t do much. It’s unlikely the album will recover much in reality and a tour looks unlikely at this stage.

With how covid is promotion is no restricted and I'd be surprised if any artists get to tour this year and the tour would have boosted kylies album sales. Hopefully there are a few more bits planned to help the album to continue to sell.

Do people really think Disco will sell less than Kylie’s Christmas, Golden and Step Back In Time? No just no.
