New Dua could have been B- or even A-listed tbh but great to see it on there anyway, love the song already!
Good to see Ava moving up to the B-list quickly although I'm still not convinced they'll A-list it. Still no Clean Bandit but I'm pretty confident they'll add it next week. Looks like the C-list has been permanently shortened to 11 songs now  What's the point of them keeping both Ari songs on there? Do they actually still play the solo version? |

Another good week for songs moving into the B list - Ava, Griff and Obskur are all fantastic. Surprised that Dua and Cardi are only on the C list, and I'm actually enjoying the new Silk City one. I've been loving the BBC Introducing track for a long time now, and whilst it does seem very late to be adding it (it came out in November 2020), I'm just happy it's getting more exposure.

Anyone know what the Tune of the Weekend is? I don’t think I’ve ever heard it or the artist and I haven’t heard Radio 1 play it at all before.

Liking nearly all of the new adds today. Nice to see Tom Grennan, Silk City and Rag'N'Bone Man at last. There is still a lot that they could have added that they haven't - I think it's probably too late for Kings of Leon now unfortunately, especially as they have moved onto their next single.
Also good to see Riton, Okskur and Doja Cat all moving up to the B List and nice to see an unexpected A List move up for Slowthai. I might be wrong but isn't this his first time on the A List? Good to see Radio 1 giving him lots of support anyway. |

don't get how Foo Fighters are on both R1 and R2 but Kings of Leon is on none :/
I can understand the R1 snub as they're not a new band anymore, but at leats they should be getting R2 support |

I’ve only just noticed this but Headie One - Siberia is also on the bbc sounds playlist with everything that they’ve added this week. So maybe that’s taking the 12th slot on the C List this week?
