A topic on creating your own version of a possible sequel to Madonna's ballad compilation album "Something To Remember", released way back in 1995. Madonna has released no shortage of great material since then.
So what would be your ideal tracklisting, here's mine.  1. Like an Angel Passing Through My Room 2. Spanish Eyes 3. Bad Girl 4. Sanctuary 5. You Must Love Me 6. Swim 7. I was struggling to think of a tracking list order but I feel like reverse-chronological order works nicely. I knew I wanted 'Drowned World' last anyway and I thought beginning with 'Frozen' would be a bit too deep to start with.
01. La Vie en rose 02. Ghosttown 03. Joan of Arc 04. Masterpiece 05. Devil Wouldn't Recognise You 06. Intervention 07. Nothing Fails 08. I Deserve It 09. What It Feels Like For a Girl 10. Like a Flower 11. Time Stood Still 12. Frozen 13. The Power of Goodbye 14. Drowned World 'Like a Flower' is a Ray of Light outtake by the way. I did consider putting 'Little Girl' ('Music' outtake) in too but they both deal with the same subject matter so I picked my favourite. I love her cover of 'La Vie en rose' from the Rebel Heart Tour so I'd have a studio version of that. |
