So the 1991 poll is finally over, time to quickly move on to 1992 as we begin our search again for the best of the top 10 singles of the year. First of all, what a relief to have a better set of songs to pick from this time around It's a pretty good representation of the sound of the year too - although sadly for me, no Shamen or Tasmin Archer! Rules are the same as always, vote out your least favourite each round until we only have one standing... go go go! |

it's close between Michael Jackson and Jimmy Nail for me... but I'm going for Heal the World - it's just too saccharin.

Has to be Erasure for me. Always hated having that mess as my birthday #1!

Oh noooooooo! I feared Erasure hate would surface early in this
Do you not like any of the tracks? I still really like their version of Lay All Your Love On Me |

Oops I read the poll as vote for your most favourite track too. I would like to change my vote in that case please! Sorry both! If you need me to change your vote, let me know what you voted for and what you would now choose instead. |

I voted for Snap, but my least favourite is probably what Jade chose, being Jimmy Nail.

Ah, my birth year, wasn't the best year compared to the rest of the 1990s. I don't recall hearing KWS, Jimmy Nail or Wet Wet Wet before (though I've not got massively high expectations based on what I know). Going for Michael Jackson anyway as that's always been overblown and saccharine.

Heal the World is awful. Probably Jacko's most annoying single ever.

Ain't No Doubt, Heal The World and Goodnight Girl are firmly the three worst from that list.
Goodnight Girl to go first but happy with the results so far. |

Listened to them, went for Erasure as they’ve had so many amazing songs and that nonsense gets to number one, but like a novelty track.
Is the Jimmy Nail song a cover? |
