So this was pretty great, looked absolutely beautiful and a great contrast of eras, I liked the deceptive 'love letter to the 60s' marketing it was going for, when it was clearly anything but! Admittedly not as great as it could've been and not everything had the best pay off (still not quite sure why she saw these things from the beginning or was gifted in this way other than symbolically, it was a bit brushed over), but great for any fans of retro-styled horror.

Sadly been a bit of a mixed response overall and box office looks poor (was very hard finding a screening near me and it was only the second week :'(), but I will always have time for what Edgar Wright brings to the screen.

Last Night in Soho is an amazing movie. This is based on a fashion designer in 1960.

Film of the year imo. I've watched it twice. w00t.gif
The 2 girls are so beautiful and talented. I really don't know which one I prefer in this film. wub.gif
I hope there is any Oscar nomination for this but I really doubt it will have any. sad.gif I don't care about critics taste. I have my own taste and this is 10/10 for me.

Yeah I absolutely loved this and have been surprised by the muted/mixed response! Both leads were fantastic and the plot/script was engaging throughout and tense, with an original idea and a twist I personally never saw coming. I don't understand people's issue with it!

Amazing film, brilliant cast especially the late icon Diana Rigg, and with an impeccable 60's soundtrack. I was overjoyed to see some 60's cinematic epic songs get the feature I have always felt they deserved, not least Barry Ryan's Eloise and Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich's Last Night In Soho (even if BJSC voters didn't quite agree tongue.gif )
